Abstract:
A distress signal pattern change type beacon given in the present invention includes a control unit (13) which generates a distress message having a certain transmitting power, frequency, and repeating cycle, receives a response message corresponding to the distress message from a satellite, changes the distress message to a high transmitting power distress message of which the transmitting power and repeating cycle are maximized if the location of the satellite is identified or if not, to a low transmitting power distress message of which the transmitting power and repeating cycle are minimized. By doing so, the transmitting method of a distress message in distress can be changed in various ways, thereby improving the initial distress signal detecting efficiency at a satellite as well as maintaining the distress signal operation around the clock as a second generation beacon (10, beacon). PURPOSE: An evaluation for dither sensitivity in a closed-loop fiber-optic gyro and a method for improving the property of a dead zone based on the same are provided to remove the dead zone with a pulse dithering technique and to predict a potential change factor against the gain of an amplifier in the closed-loop and the bandwidth of a cutoff frequency. CONSTITUTION: A method for improving the property of a dead zone based on an evaluation for dither sensitivity in a closed-loop fiber-optic gyro includes: a step (S32) of initializing an optimization target variable, and determining a condition for the evaluation item of the dither sensitivity; a step (S33) of evaluating the dither sensitivity according to the determined condition; a step (S34) of identifying whether or not the property of the evaluated dither sensitivity satisfies the determined condition according to the evaluated dither sensitivity; a step (S35) of storing the optimization target variable and an optimal dither amplitude point, and then fixedly applying the optimization target variable when the property satisfies the determined condition; a step (S34-1) of changing the optimization target variable when the property does not satisfy the determined condition; and a step (S36) of determining a dither amplitude optimal value according to a predetermined value using the stored optimal dither amplitude point. PURPOSE: A sonar test apparatus and a system thereof are provided to individually test the performance of each underwater sound sensor of sonar. CONSTITUTION: A sonar test apparatus(200) includes a signal processor(301) and an image arrangement sensor device(302). The image arrangement sensor device is arranged to correspond to sonar, and exchanges a sound signal with an underwater sound sensor. The signal processor generates an electric signal transmitted to the image arrangement sensor device, or processes an electric signal transmitted from the image arrangement sensor device.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A simulator of developing a sound detector for underwater mover is provided to maximize operations and performance of the sound detector by simulating a signal model about similar environment to real underwater environment. CONSTITUTION: An input/output unit receives necessary information from a sound detector and a motion simulator. A signal generator(100) receives the information from the input/output unit and calculates a digital signal model. A D/A converter(200) converts the calculated digital signal model of the signal generator to an analog signal. A signal controller(300) controls a frequency and a gain of the analog signal of the D/A converter and generates a signal about the similar environment to the real underwater environment. A remote control computer(900) loads an OS into the signal generator and displays various states of operations.

PURPOSE: An integrated interfacing apparatus and a method thereof are provided to reduce the number of devices for hand carry by supporting four kinds of communication types with a single device. CONSTITUTION: A USB controller(111) uses a USB universal chip to connect with a PC. An MPU(Micro Processor Unit)(112) controls the flow of data transmitted and received in the USB controller. The communication method is received from the PC and transmits a control command to interlink with a device using the same communication type. A serial link controller(113) selects a communication type according to the control command. A serial link unit(120) processes a connection with the device according to the communication type.
