Abstract: PURPOSE: A system and method for automatically accessing an internet phone is provided to remove the need for a user to repeatedly input a number, and to enable the user to enjoy an internet phone service with a low cost. CONSTITUTION: An internet phone connection button(400) is pressed to generate a connection drive signal. A microcomputer(410) detects the connection drive signal from the button(400), and calls the internet phone connection. When an internet phone connection part(420) is called by the microcomputer(410), it combines the other person's phone number to be connected with the connection number of an internet phone service company, and then makes a phone call via a modem(440) connected to a public switched telephone network(PSTN), based on the combined number. The part(420) includes a telephone call module(422), a connection number part(424), a telephone number part(426), a combination module(428) and a modem interface part(430).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A system for transmitting/receiving E-mail through a network such as internet performs a telephone communication function and a pager call function through the network such as internet. CONSTITUTION: A message transmission/receiving method determines whether or not a call information such as a telephone number and a pager number is included in a predetermined area of the mail received in a mail server, and provides a call information to a switching system connected to a telephone network. The switching system transmits the mail to a terminal corresponding to the call information. Accordingly, in E-mail transmission using internet network, there is no need to additionally construct a call number field for a pager call. As a result, without changing a protocol, a pager call is possible.
