    Abstract: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel is provided to form an electrode capable of generating a first electric field on an array substrate and form an electrode capable of generating a second electric field in a direction different from the direction of the first electric field on a counter substrate for preventing image sticking. An LCD panel includes an array substrate(100) on which pixel regions(PA) are arranged, a counter substrate opposite to the array substrate, a liquid crystal layer interposed between the array substrate and the counter substrate, a pixel electrode(170) disposed in each pixel region, a first common electrode(180) located in each pixel region at a distance from the pixel electrode, a second common electrode placed on the counter substrate, and a third common electrode disposed on the counter substrate at a distance from the second common electrode. The liquid crystal layer includes blue phase liquid crystal. A first electric field is formed between the pixel electrode and the first common electrode on the array substrate and a second electric filed is formed between the second and third common electrodes on the counter substrate. The first and second electric fields are formed in different directions and act on the liquid crystal at different time periods.

On one of the first and second substrates, a sealant is formed. In the first and second substrates and a space surrounded with the sealant, monomer of non-liquid crystalline and low molecular liquid crystal capable of revealing a blue phase is disposed. By applying ultraviolet rays to the monomer through the second substrate, a oss-linked blue phase liquid crystal layer(400) is formed. The light blocking layer includes a color filter(161). In the TFT, a gate electrode(121), a semiconductor layer(132), an ohmic contact layer(133), a source electrode(142) and a drain electrode(143) are formed.
