    Abstract: A display and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to easily perform a modification in the pattering of the lower electrode of a touch panel formed on the upper substrate of a liquid crystal panel by etching the lower electrode with a laser beam and forming a hole. A lower electrode(24) is formed on the upper substrate of a liquid crystal panel to which a lower polarizing plate is attached. At least one hole which penetrates the lower electrode(24) is formed through a patterning process using a laser beam so that the lower electrode(24) can be divided into at least two regions. Signal supply lines(66,68) are formed on both edges of one of the divided regions. A touch pad, connected with the signal supply lines, is formed on the other region. An upper electrode facing the lower electrode(24) is formed on an upper polarizing plate. A touch panel is formed on the liquid crystal panel as the upper polarizing plate is attached to the upper substrate.

    Abstract: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to display a clear image without afterimage, by compensating for the change of resistance value in inverse proportion to temperature through a first resistor module and a second resistor module even when resistance value of a data line is changed in proportion to the temperature. An LCD comprises gate lines, data lines crossing the gate lines, and pixels(110) formed at crossing regions of the gate lines and the data lines. Each of the pixels includes a thin film transistor and a liquid crystal element. The thin film transistor has a gate electrode connected to one of the gate lines, a source electrode connected to one of the data lines, and a drain electrode. The liquid crystal element is connected to the drain electrode of the thin film transistor. A first resistor module(115) is formed between the liquid crystal element and a power supply. A resistance of the first resistor module is in inverse proportion to temperature. A second resistor module(125) is connected to each of the data lines, wherein a resistance of the second resistor module is in inverse proportion to temperature.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to remove yellow shift generated at the side of the LCD. CONSTITUTION: An LCD includes the first and second substrates(1,2), a common electrode formed on one of the first and second substrates, a pixel electrode formed on the same substrate on which the common electrode is formed, and a liquid crystal layer(3) formed between the first and second substrates. The LCD further includes a lower polarizer(12) and an upper polarizer(22). The lower polarizer is arranged under the first substrate and constructed in a manner that the first polarizer film(12b) is disposed between the first and second bases(12a,12c). The second polarizer is arranged on the second substrate and constructed in a manner that the second polarizer film(22b) is disposed between the third and fourth based(22a,22c). Phase retardation of the second and third bases in the thickness direction is 0 to 50 nm.
