Abstract: PURPOSE: An air cleaning device and a method are provided to prevent dispersion of pollution by cleaning the partially polluted air and to minimize the reduction of production efficiency generated due to non-operation of equipments for air-cleaning time. CONSTITUTION: An air cleaning device is composed of a housing(10) having an intake unit(12) for sucking the air and an exhaust unit(44) for discharging the internal air to the outside and cutting off an inside from the outer space; a first filter unit(30) positioned adjacently to the air intake unit of the housing and composed of first filters arranged in parallel to remove a first pollutant group from the air sucked through the air intake unit; and a blower(34) mounted in the housing to suck in the external air into the housing. The first filters of the first filter unit are aligned below 90 degrees against the flow direction of the air inserted through the air intake unit.
