PURPOSE: A non-halogen flameproof styrene-based resin composition is provided to obtain resistance to fire and excellent impact strength and to be environment-friendly used without using a halogen flame retardant in a combustion process. CONSTITUTION: A non-halogen flameproof styrene-based resin composition is comprised of 100.0 parts by weight of a base resin including 80-99 weight% of an aromatic vinyl resin and 1-20 weight% of a polyphenylene ether resin and 0.5-30 parts by weight of a cyclic cyanomethyl phosphate compound. The cyclic cyanomethyl phosphate compound is marked by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, R1, R1', R2, and R2' are hydrogen, an alkyl group with C1-C8, an aryl group with C6-C20, or an alkyl-substituted aryl group with C6-C20.

PURPOSE: A phosphonate compounds and flame retardant styrene resin composition are provided to ensure stability with respect to fire and high strength. CONSTITUTION: A phosphonate compounds are denoted by chemical formula 1. A flame retardant styrene resin compounds contains 70-99 weight% of styrene resin, 1-30 weight% of polyphenylene ether resin, and 0.5-30 weight parts of phosphonate compounds of chemical formula 1. The composition further contains 1-20 weight parts of phosphate flame retardant compounds.

PURPOSE: A phosphonate compounds and flame retardant styrenic resin composition containing the same are provided to ensure high stability to fire and to prevent environmental pollution. CONSTITUTION: A phosphonate compound is denoted by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, R2 is C1-C4 alkyl, phenyl methyl, or cyanomethayl group. A flame retardant styrene resin composition contains styrene resins, polyphenylene ether resin, and phosphonate compounds of chemical formula 1. The composition further contains 1-20 weight parts of phosphate flame retardant compound. The additionally phosphate flame retardant compound is (D)-1 aromatic phosphoric acid ester compound or alkyl phosphinic acid metal salt compound.

A nonhalogenated flame retardant styrene-based resin composition is provided to obtain excellent flame retardancy without using a harmful halogen-based flame retardant. A styrene-based resin composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a base resin which comprises 50-90 parts by weight of a styrene-based resin, and 10-50 parts by weight of a polyphenylene ether resin; 0.1-50 parts by weight of a phosphorus triazine compound represented by the formula 1; and 0.1-30 parts by weight of at least one phosphorus-based compound selected from the group consisting of an alkyl phosphinic acid metal salt, an aromatic phosphoric acid compound and a phosphazene compound.
