Abstract: A multi-view image display system provides a plurality of multi-view three-dimensional (3-D) images, using the mask type of image arrangement plate where the images grouped by corresponding pixels are arranged in a same order as that of the pixels. Each pixel cell is provided with an image display region which is divided into a plurality of subcells arranged depending on arrangement structure of the viewing zones, and each of the subcells transmits or reflects the lights from point light sources using its whole area, thereby allowing the transmitted or reflected lights to be collected in each of the viewing zones to form each of the view images.

Abstract: 링레이저의반사경을통해링레이저내의두 반대방향진행빔의일부를출력시켜이것을외부반사경을이용하여후방진행파(back travelling wave)로만들어다시링레이저공진기내로주입시킴으로써록인존(lock-in zone)을넓게함과동시에외부반사경과링 레이저사이의거리, 즉광 경로의길이(optical path length)를피 측정량에의해조절함으로써달라지는두 반대방향진행파의빔 강도(intensity) 및위상변화(phase change)에따른간섭무늬(interference fringe)수의변화율(variation)을측정하여이를이용하여피 측정량을측정하는링레이저간섭계및 이를이용하는방법에관한것이다. 외부반사경과링 레이저사이에감쇄기를두어후방진행파의세기를외부에서조절가능하게함으로써, 링레이저를록인존 영역내에서만동작시키도록한다. 변위(displacement), 길이(length), 위치(position), 온도(temperature), 굴절율(refractive index), 압력(pressure) 등의여러가지물리량(physical quantity)이피 측정량이될 수가있다. 본발명의간섭계의출력은두 반대방향진행파의출력빔강도의합과차이그리고위상차이(phase difference)에의한간섭무늬의변화율이고, 이들의일부는부궤환(negative feedback)되어인가전압의변동및 기타외부영향에의한링레이저의출력빔강도및 주파수변화를억제또는상쇄시켜, 고정도측정을가능하게한다. 또한링레이저를록인존에서동작시키므로링레이저의미세움직임이측정량에미치는영향도최소화할수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A back light unit of an LCD using an optical fiber is provided to supply light to a back light unit and improve a quality of picture by using an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION: An optical fiber(61) of a back light unit(60) is installed in bundle units. The number of optical fiber(61) corresponds to the number of pixel formed on a polarization plate(81) installed on a back face of an LCD panel(80). A diffusion line(83) is formed to a longitudinal direction of an outer circumference face of the optical fiber(61). The diffusion line(83) has the same length(L1) as a pixel line(82). The light irradiated through an inside of the optical fiber(61) is emitted to the outside of the optical fiber(61) through the diffusion line(83). The emitted light is transmitted to the LCD panel(80) through the pixel line(82).

Abstract: This invention provides an improved optical image direct transmitting device which compensates distortion made when transmitting an image by phase conjugate wave via hologram. This device includes a first lens (6c) forming a light from an input image as parallel light; a transfer medium (2a) transmitting light information; a hologram recording medium (1a) including information about distortion of the transfer medium (2a); a reflecting mirror (7); a second lens (6d) collecting the parallel light passing the medium (1a) from the first lens (60) on the mirror (7); third lenses (6a, 6b) collecting a phase conjugate wave regenerated from the hologram recording medium (1a) on the transfer medium (2a); and an image output unit (4) displaying the light information from the medium (2a).

Abstract: An absorption type continuous neutral density filter controls an intensity distribution of a light beam from a laser to provide the intensity distribution of the light beam desired by an user. In the filter, the intensity distribution of the light beam is controlled by adjusting absorption of the light beam by the varying thickness of medium of the filter. This control of the distribution of the light intensity is accomplished by predefining the variance of thickness of the filter to a form required by the user. As a result, the continuous neutral density filter can be easily fabricated.

Abstract: A distance measuring instrument using a superposition of two beams is disclosed. A beam is radiated from a laser(11) to an object(40). The beam is passed through a beam divider(13) and then a standard beam(2) and a radiation beam(3) are generated. By using the standard beam(2), the radiation beam(3) and the superposition of two beams(2,3), a short distance is measured.
