    Abstract: PURPOSE: A water heater is provided to prevent the electric heating unit of the water heater from being damaged by minimizing the damage of the body housing of the water heater. CONSTITUTION: A water heater comprises a body housing(110), an electric heating unit(120) and a plate unit(130). The body housing comprises a vapor inlet(111) through which vapor flows into and an empty space. The electric heating unit is installed in the body housing. The plate unit prevents the wall thinning of the body housing. Heat exchange fluid for the heat exchange with the vapor flows in the electric heating unit. The plate unit has a curvature shape surrounding some circumference of the electric heating unit.
