PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for estimating a channel are provided to efficiently estimate a channel through an optimized memory use method. CONSTITUTION: A time axis interpolation unit(340) performs interpolation in a time axis by using the channel estimation value of a pilot subcarrier stored in an internal buffer unit. A frequency axis interpolation unit(350) performs interpolation in a frequency axis by using the channel estimation value stored in the internal buffer unit. An output buffer unit(360) receives and stores the channel estimation value obtained through the frequency axis interpolation unit and the channel estimation value stored in the internal buffer unit.

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for processing a multi channel signal and a multi channel receiver using the same are provided to process channel filtering and sampling of a narrow signal through the calculation capacity of a digital processor. CONSTITUTION: Two or more RF tuners(2013, 2014) receive a radio frequency signal. A channel filter(2010) removes an interference signal included in a signal outputted from a switch(2009). The channel filter passes through the signal of a transmission band. An ADC(analog to digital converter)(2011) converts the signal outputted from the channel filter into the digital filter. A fixed sampling frequency generator(2012) transmits the fixed sampling frequency to the ADC.

PURPOSE: An MCS determining apparatus and a method thereof in order to select an MCS level are provided to increase system performance in order to select a proper MCS(modulation and coding scheme) level. CONSTITUTION: A fading parameter estimating unit(102) estimates an SINR(signal-to-interference plus noise-ratio) average value of a lower link channel and a fading parameter. An MCS selecting unit(104) selects an MCS level by using the packet loss ratio and the average number of transmission. An MCS determining unit(100) transmits the MCS level to a base station(200).

PURPOSE: A DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) receiving device and a method of controlling buffer are provided to minimize the buffering of the DMB signal. CONSTITUTION: A CTS(Composition Time Stamp) Clock controller(252) controls the time of the video frame of the audio frame of the audio ring buffer(223) and video ring buffer(233). According to the control signal of the CTS Clock controller, a video frame corresponding to the synchronization of the audio frame in which the video render thread(234) plays in the audio call back part(224) is received from the video ring buffer. The video render thread adjusts synchronization by the rendering of the video frame and audio frame.

PURPOSE: An interlocking system between a DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) service and a VDD service and a method thereof are provided to offer the VDD service by searching reproduction start timing and a reproduction section of contents automatically considering watching state about interruption of DMB service watching. CONSTITUTION: A VOD(Video On Demand) service gateway server(300) stores information about interlocking relation of a DMB service and a VOD service. A user watches the DMB service and VOD service through a user terminal(100). If DMB service watching is interrupted, the user terminal stores user watching information. In case the user watches the same contents with the VOD service, the user terminal reproduces the VOD service considering the watching information of the user.

PURPOSE: An apparatus for synchronizing of an OFDM signal using an open loop frequency synchronization method are provided to presume and compensate a frequency offset which is generated from the difference between reference clock frequencies. CONSTITUTION: An integer frequency offset estimator(475) uses a frequency offset estimation algorithm using the correlation value of PRS(phase reference symbol) and presumes the integral frequency offset. A frequency offset controller(476) estimates an integral frequency change by using a prime number frequency offset. A frequency offset compensation(477) compensate a frequency offset by using the state position of a collected start position frame and the start location of the corrected OFDM symbol.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A transmission antenna selection method of a reception terminal is provided to improve performance and reduce the computational complexity by selecting a transmission antenna through a MMSE(Minimum Mean Square Error) detection method. CONSTITUTION: A sub-channel matrix is extracted from a selectable transmission antenna set between a transmission/reception terminal(S10). A SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) according to each transmission data stream of the extracted transmission antenna is computed. The SNR is transformed according to the structure about the sub-channel matrix(S20). A sub-channel matrix when a minimum singular value is maximized is fed back to the transmission terminal(S50). According to the sub-channel matrix which the transmission terminal is fed back, the transmission antenna is selected(S60).

PURPOSE: A device and a method for correcting an image are provided to correct the detailed part of a subject in a dark or bright area to an identified image using a plurality of lookup tables. CONSTITUTION: A reverse gamma converter(110) releases a gamma conversion and linearizes R,G, and B. A boundary value calculator(120) calculates (m-1) boundary values for dividing the brightness of a pixel into m regions and designates one among m brightness regions about all pixels. A block divider(130) divides an input image into a plurality of blocks. A block statistical calculator(140) designates each block to the corresponding brightness region among the m brightness regions. An image corrector corrects the image using a lookup table according to the block generated through a lookup table generator.

본 발명은 화이트밸런스(White Balance) 자동조정장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 화이트밸런스 자동조정장치는 RGB 신호의 히스토그램을 칼라별로 평활화하는 히스토그램 평활화부, 평활화된 RGB 신호로부터 변환된 YCbCr 신호 및 기설정된 YCbCr 임계값을 이용하여 RGB 신호의 기준영역을 검출하는 기준영역 검출부, 기준영역에 포함된 G 신호의 평균값을 이용하여 기준영역에 포함된 RGB 신호의 각 게인(Gain) 값을 연산하는 게인 연산부 및 RGB 신호의 게인(Gain) 값을 이용하여 화이트밸런스를 조정하는 화이트밸런스 조정부를 포함한다. 본 발명에 따른 화이트밸런스 자동조정장치는 기설정된 임계값을 이용하여 기준 영역을 검출함으로서, 화이트밸런스 조정을 위한 처리시간을 최소화시킬 수 있다. 화이트밸런스(White Balance), 히스토그램 평활화(histogram Equalization), RGB 신호, 베이어(Bayer) 영상 신호

입력되는 다수의 셀신호중에서 수서통계 신호를 만들어내기 위한 방법에 있어서, 1) 입력신호 X i 의 크기에 어떤 계수를 곱하여 신호 X i '를 만들고, 2) 신호 X i '를 다른 입력신호와 비교한 개수신호 μ i 를 "0"으로 초기화하고, 3) 다수의 선행 입력신호들과 하나하나 비교하여 계수신호를 갱신하고, 4) 다수의 후행 입력신호들과 하나하나 비교하여 계수신호를 갱신하고, 5) 미리 설정된 수와 최종 갱신된 계수신호를 비교하여 이 계수신호가 설정된 수보다 작기 아니하면 입력신호 X i 를 표적신호라고 판단하는 단계들를 포함하여 이루어지는 것이 특징인 순서통계 신호를 발생하는 방법과 이를 실현시키는 시스톨릭구조의 비선형 필터이다.
