Abstract: A concatenated BCH encoding circuit includes a row encoder, a column encoder, and a parity FIFO buffer. The lower encoder performs first encoding in a row direction with respect to a plurality of data blocks forming one page and generates firs parities in parallel. The column encoder performs second encoding for each data block during the first encoding for the data blocks and generates partial parities in a column direction. The parity FIFO buffer stores the partial parities. The column encoder performs the second encoding in the column direction with respect to the data blocks by one read-out for the data blocks using the partial parities stored in the parity FIFO buffer and generates second parities.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A microdevice for detecting pathogens is provided to detect a pathogen from clinical and environmental samples by sample-in-answer-out capability, and to be applied in biostability test, environmental screening, and clinical test with quick analysis. CONSTITUTION: A microdevice for detecting pathogens comprises: a passive micromixer, a magnetic separation chamber, and a capillary electrophoresis channel. The passive micromixer is used for mixing pathogens, a first probe, and a second probe. The magnetic separation chamber is connected to the passive micromixer. The capillary electrophoresis channel is connected to the magnetic separation chamber. The first probe contains an MMP(magnetic microparticle) probe. The second probe contains nanoparticles of gold, silver, platinum, palladium, copper, nickel, zinc, silicon oxide, or polystyrene. Abstract: PURPOSE: A PCR pretreatment device and a method for pretreatment of a sample using the same are provided to effectively isolate and purify a target material. CONSTITUTION: A PCR pretreatment device comprises: a sample chamber for storing a sample solution, a washing buffer chamber for storing washing buffer solution, an elution buffer chamber, and a hydrophobic channel which is connected to each chamber and helps the flow of a solution. The kind of the solution is determined by rotation speed of a PCR chip.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A rotational polymerase chain reaction(PCR) apparatus and real-time polymerase chain reaction method using thereof are provided to implement of high yield PCR process with low cost. CONSTITUTION: A rotational polymerase chain reaction(PCR) apparatus comprises PCR chip which PCR is process, rotating tool which is connected to the PCR chip in order to rotate the PCR chip, and PCR temperature field formation tool(100) which is separated from the PCR chip to apply heat energy and is structured for PCR chip to pass by different temperature sections. The temperature field formation tool is a disc shaped and includes a plurality of heating blocks(100a, 100b, 100c). The heating blocks are heated with electric energy and a plurality of heating blocks is independently controllable. The heating blocks comprise light source which generates optical energy.
