Abstract: PURPOSE: An automatic battery charger cable winding apparatus and a method thereof are provided to use an existing shared ground line within a battery charger cable, thereby eliminating additional parts such as a separate sensor, a recognition line, or etc. CONSTITUTION: A comparison part outputs a first level signal by comparing reference voltage with voltage applied from a voltage source. An edge detection part(220) detects an edge of the first level signal. The edge detection part outputs a trigger pulse according to an edge detection state of the first level signal. A time delay part(230) delays the trigger pulse with a first setup time.
