2. 발명이 해결하려고 하는 기술적 과제
본 발명은 리눅스 기반의 홈서버에서 멀티캐스트 포워딩 문제를 해결하고, 또한 리눅스 커널의 구조적인 IPv6 멀티캐스트 패킷 처리 문제를 해결하여 홈서버를 통하여 다자간 그룹과외 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 홈네트워크에서의 IPv6 멀티캐스트 기능을 이용한 다자간 그룹과외 서비스 제공 방법을 제공하는데 그 목적이 있음.
3. 발명의 해결방법의 요지
본 발명은 홈네트워크에서의 IPv6 멀티캐스트 기능을 이용한 다자간 그룹과외 서비스 제공 방법에 있어서, 댁내의 사용자가 그룹과외 서비스를 위한 멀티캐스트 통신 송/수신을 결정하는 멀티캐스트 통신 송/수신 결정 단계; 상기 멀티캐스트 통신 송/수신 결정 단계에서의 결정 결과, 멀티캐스트 통신의 송신의 경우에 해당하는 세션을 개최할 경우 데이터베이스(DB) 서버를 실행하고, 홈서버(HS)로 그룹정보 등록 메시지를 전달하고, 랑데뷰 포인트(RP)에 상기 그룹정보 등록 메시지를 등록하여 상기 랑데뷰 포인트(RP)에 등록되었음을 확인한 후, 그룹가입 정보를 전송하여 통신준비를 완료하고, 그룹과외 서비스를 시작하는 그룹과외 서비스 개최 단계; 및 상기 멀티캐스트 통신 송/수신 결정 단계에서의 결정 결과, 멀티캐스트 통신의 수신의 경우에는 멀티캐스트를 수신하고, 상기 홈서버(HS)에 그룹 가입 메시지인 그룹정보를 전달하고, 상기 랑데뷰 포인트(RP)에 상기 그룹정보를 전달하여 수신정보를 등록하고, 상기 랑데뷰 포인트(RP)에 등록되었음을 확인한 후, 그룹가입 정보를 전송하여 통신준비를 완료하고 그룹과외 서비스를 시작하는 그룹과외 서비스 수신 단계를 포함하되, 상기 홈서버(HS)는, 멀티캐스트 그룹리스트의 정보를 이용하여 멀티캐스트 그룹관리 데이터베이스(DB) 서버 역할을 수행하며, 상기 사용자의 권한에 상관없이 누구나 다자간 멀티캐스트 세션을 개최할 수 있고, 상기 홈서버 내부에 PIM-SM(Protocol Independent Multicast - Sparse Mode), MLD(Multicast Listener Discovery) 기능이 추가되어 멀티캐스트 포워딩 기능을 가능하게 하여 랑데뷰 포인트(Rendezvous Point) 역할을 수행 가능하게 하는 것을 특징으로 함.
