Abstract: Disclosed is a learning method using extracted data characteristics for simplifying learning process and improving the accuracy of the estimation. The learning method using the extracted data characteristics comprises the steps of: dividing input learning data into two groups on the criteria set in advance; extracting the data characteristics that can distinguish the divided groups; and performing a learning by using the extracted characteristics. Abstract: 영상의 프라이버시 마스킹 방법 및 장치를 제공한다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 영상의 프라이버시 마스킹 방법은 영상(Image)에서 프라이버시(Privacy) 보호가 필요한 프라이버시 영역을 검출하는 단계 및 영상에 대하여 마스킹(Masking)을 수행하는 단계를 포함하여 구성될 수 있다. 따라서, CCTV 카메라를 통하여 입력되는 영상에서 검출된 중요영역(사람의 얼굴영역, 차량의 번호판영역, 주택의 창문영역 등)에 대한 암호화/스크램블과 복호화/디스크램블이 효과적이고 손쉽게 가능하도록 할 수 있다. 또한 별도의 메타 데이터 파일을 이용하지 않아도 스크램블 전후에 검출되는 중요영역에 대한 위치의 일관성을 유지할 수 있다. 또한, 중요영역의 크기에 관계 없이 동일한 키값의 스크램블링 알고리즘의 적용이 가능하다. 결국, CCTV 기반의 영상보안 시스템에서 보다 효과적으로 개인정보의 보호를 통한 시스템의 효율성을 높이는데 효과적으로 기여할 수 있을 것이다.
