Abstract: An activation time control device for ensuring real-time data transmission in a low-rate WPAN(Wireless Personal Area Network) and a method therefor are provided to adaptively extend activation time, depending on whether real-time data exists, in order to guarantee real-time data transmission in the low-rate WPAN. A message queue(210) stores data to be transmitted. A decider(220) decides whether the data to be transmitted is real-time data. A transceiver(260) transceives data with a network controller in active state, and transmits data which demands extension of activation time to the network controller if the data to be transmitted is the real-time data in the active state. A state controller(257) extends the activation time if data approving of the extension of the activation time is received from the network controller in the active state.

이로써, 본 발명은 친환경/경제적인 주행속도를 제공함으로써 지구온난화 방지협약, 배기가스 저감규제 등이 강화된 산업에 활용성을 높일 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A lay type wireless car detection apparatus and a controlling method thereof are provided to wirelessly transmit traffic information including the existence or nonexistence of vehicles to a data collection unit by wirelessly sensing a vehicle.
