다채널 오디오 신호의 바이노럴 렌더링 방법 및 장치가 개시된다. 바이노럴 렌더링 방법은 바이노럴 필터로부터 초기 반사음 성분과 잔향 성분을 추출하는 단계; 상기 초기 반사음 성분에 기초하여 다채널 오디오 신호를 바이노럴 렌더링함으로써 스테레오 오디오 신호를 생성하는 단계; 및 상기 잔향 성분을 상기 생성된 스테레오 신호에 적용하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.

A multimedia data generation device and method, and a multimedia data playback device and method are disclosed. The multimedia data generation device comprises a spatial information identification unit for identifying spatial information in respective channels of a multi-channel audio signal and a multimedia data generation unit for generating multimedia data including the spatial information. The multimedia data playback device comprises a spatial information analysis unit for analyzing spatial information in the respective channels of the multi-channel audio signal included in the multimedia data and a multimedia data playback unit for reproducing the multimedia data based on the spatial information.

PURPOSE: A front wave field synthesis (WFS) system and a method for providing surround sound using a 7.1 channel codec are provided to install fewer loud speakers and offer a wave field effect. CONSTITUTION: A front WFS system includes a front WFS signal encoding device (110). The front WFS signal encoding device includes a content receiving unit (111) and an encoding unit (112). The content receiving unit receives WFS content including first channels corresponding to a front array speaker and second channels corresponding to a surround speaker. The encoding unit encodes the first channel and the second channel by a multi-channel encoder corresponding to the number of channels included in the WFS content. The encoding unit performs encoding by inputting the first channel and the second channel to the multi-channel encoder according to the condition for identifying the first and second channels. PURPOSE: An encoding device for supporting a scalable multi-channel audio signal, a decoding device, and a method thereof are provided to restore and compress a multi-channel audio signal for providing three-dimensional audio in a realistic broadcasting environment. CONSTITUTION: A signal generator(201) generates a compatible multi-channel audio signal using a multi-channel audio signal and an audio object signal. An encoding unit(202) generates a first bit stream through a hierarchical encoding of the compatible multi-channel audio signal. Disclosed is a Jeongganbo score describing method, wherein Jeongganbo is a traditional Korean musical notation system. The Jeongganbo score describing method includes a step of analyzing the structure of the Jeongganbo based on rhythm, beat, and time; and a step of generating Jeongganbo structure data which describes the structure of the Jeongganbo based on an analyzed result of the structure of the Jeongganbo.
