Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus for recovering a styrene monomer is provided to prevent the yield of a styrene monomer from being lowered in a long time operation by consecutively discharging residues and to maximized the yield of styrene monomer according to use of twin screw pyrolysis reactor. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for recovering a styrene monomer includes: a pyrolysis reactor(1) causing the melting and pyrolysis by receiving waste polystyrene; a steam collector(4) for collecting steam vapor created in the pyrolysis reactor; a heat exchanger(5) by liquefying the steam vapor collected in the steam collector and converting into oil; an oil reservoir(7) storing the oil liquefied in the heat exchanger; and a residue drain part(3) for discharging the residue generated after pyrolysis.

Abstract: An epoxy adhesive using a fatty acid ester solvent is provided to prevent emission of volatile organic compounds causing environmental pollution, and to obtain an adhesive for a flooring material having excellent biodegradability. An adhesive composition for a flooring material comprises an epoxy resin and is obtained by using a fatty acid ester compound as a solvent. An adhesive composition for the adhesion of a flooring material comprises: 4-36 parts by weight of an epoxy resin, 5-35 parts by weight of a tackifier; 5-70 parts by weight of a filler, 1-20 parts by weight of a fatty acid ester solvent; and 0.001-2 parts by weight of a dispersant.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing adsorber is provided to recycle pyrolysis residue obtained thermally decomposes waste polystyrene as a raw material of the adsorber, to reduce environment contamination problem by waste, to secure steadily the raw material of the adsorber and to save a production cost. A waste polystyrene melt is injected in a pyrolysis reactor and a styrene monomer and a pyrolysis residue are manufactured at 350 ~ 400 °C. The manufactured pyrolysis residue is heated at 900 ~ 1000 °C under an inert atmosphere and separated into a volatile component and a solid carbide. The solid carbide perform an activation reaction at 900 ~ 1000 °C by an oxidative gas.

Abstract: The method of processing food waste from the kitchen proceeds in the steps of i) filtering food wastes, ii) heating and decomposing the wastes for 1-2 hrs. under the temp. of 50-275 deg. C and 0.2-59 atm. pressure, iii) cooling it down, iv) and separating it into solidity material and residual fluid. Abstract: PURPOSE: Supported copper catalysts for manufacturing dimethyl carbonate based on the oxidative carbonylation of methanol are provided to improve the selectivity of the catalyst to the dimethyl carbonate and to reduce the corrosivity of the catalyst. CONSTITUTION: Supported copper catalyst is catalyst supporting copper ions and metallic ions selected from alkali metals and alkali earth metals in zeolite supports. The content of the copper ions is between 30 and 100 parts by weight and the content of the metallic ions is between 1 to 30 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the zeolite supports. Dimethyl carbonate is obtained by implementing the reaction of methanol, carbon monoxide, and oxygen under the catalyst in a batch type liquid-based reactor or a continuous type gas-based reactor.

Abstract: An evaporation system is provided to recover a solvent easily and improve recovery ratio of the solvent within a short time as compared with an existing batch type evaporation tank by evaporating a waste styrofoam slurry dissolved by a solvent, thereby recovering the solvent. As a solvent recovery equipment comprising a slurry storage tank, an evaporator(11), a heat exchanger and a recovery tank, a recovery equipment of a solvent from a waste styrofoam slurry is characterized in that the evaporator comprises: a first cylinder(14) and a second cylinder(15) which have different diameters and are integrally formed at upper and lower sides; a slurry inlet(16) and a gas outlet(17) formed on an upper portion of the first cylinder; a residue outlet(18) formed on the bottom of the second cylinder; a spring type reactant guide(19) which is disposed concentrically within the second cylinder and extends longitudinally to increase retention time of a reactant; and a conical slurry guide(20) which is formed on a boundary part between the first and second cylinders, and which has a plurality of holes formed along the circumference of the guide so that a predetermined amount of slurry can stay in the holes, and the holes are spaced from one another in an equal distance, wherein the slurry can flow down uniformly as a whole along an inner wall surface of the second cylinder while the slurry is discharged downward through the plural holes.
