    Abstract: An exhaust hanger used for fixing a position of an exhaust system is provided to mount securely to a rod of a bracket, and to tighten or to loose the exhaust hanger easily. An exhaust hanger(20) used for fixing a position of an exhaust system includes a body(22) having an oval shape cross section, a mount(30) at an upper portion of the body and another mount at a lower portion of the body, a portion(40) in the middle of the body to manipulate a tightening or a loosening, a tightening device(50) to apply tension to the mount by shaping the tightening device like a pair of S shaped scissor with a hinge(52), and a spring(60) applying elastic force to both ends of the tightening device. The mount has a circular mount(34) containing a mounting hole(32) where a rod is inserted and a concaved portion(36). A cylinder shaped elastic insertion hole(42) is formed at the center of the portion in the middle of body while bars(44) are placed orthogonal to the insertion hole and a pair of tightening device is vertically inserted to the bars. Insertion of a tapered wedge-shape tool(70) to the insertion hole causes lateral deformation of elastic insertion hole and rotation of tightening device in the bar so that both ends of fastening device connected by a spring are pulled and tightening force is reduced.
