Abstract: PURPOSE: An oil drain device of an oil filter is provided to increase the airtight capability by sealing the upper part of a connection part and the bottom side of a recess. CONSTITUTION: An oil drain device of an oil filter comprises a center rod(10) and a sealing(30). The center rod is fixed to the filter cap on the center part of a filter element. The bottom part of the center rod is inserted in a connection part(6) which connects the filter housing inside and an oil return path. The sealing is installed in the bottom part of the center rod. The sealing shuts tightly the filter housing inside and the oil return path. Abstract: PURPOSE: Structure of a variable multi plate type oil cooler employing a wax body is provided to improve the performance of an engine by varying the heat emission property of an oil cooler via a wax body, to unify the specifications of an oil cooler, and to reduce the production cost by making parts used commonly. CONSTITUTION: An oil cooler(10) includes an ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(20) for variation of the heat emission property depending on the temperature of the oil flowing into the oil cooler, a hot wire(30) for generation of heat, a wax body(40) expanding by the heat of the hot wire, and a plunger(50) for variation of the heat emission property of the oil cooler by controlling the opening and closing of respective inlets of a multi plate(10a). If the temperature of engine oil is low, the hot wire is not heated. The wax is restrained from expanding, and the plunger closes the inlets of the multi plate. The bimetal contracts and expands in accordance with the temperature change of oil.
