Abstract: PURPOSE: A car body assembling apparatus is provided to ensure the flexibility of a facility for producing many kinds of vehicles since welding can be performed by a plurality of welding robots on both sides of processes. CONSTITUTION: A car body assembling apparatus comprises locating units(1), a robot hanger unit(3), part loading units(5) and welding robots(7). The locating units are installed on both sides of a base plate(11) of a process by three sets. The locating unit regulates a clamping pin(13), which is inserted into a lower tooling hole of each side member. The robot hanger unit is composed on the leading end of the arm of a handling robot(41), which is arranged on one side of the front with respect to the base plate, and loads a dash panel between the regulated side members(SM) on the locating unit in the state the clamping pin is inserted into the tooling hole on the cross section of the dash panel(DP). The part loading robots are respectively formed on both sides of the rear of the base plate, clamp the left and right side members on a pallet and load them by the locating unit. The welding robots are respectively formed on both sides the base plate and comprises an integral spot welding gun(55) on the leading end of the arm so that the welding operation is performed on each bonding part of the dash panel and the left and right side members.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A tooling pin for clamping a steel plate is provided to clamp or unclamp various kinds of steel plates by controlling a position of the steel plate and adjusting height of the steel plate. CONSTITUTION: A steel plate(1) is directly clamped or unclamped by a tooling pin of a tooling pin device. Abstract: PURPOSE: A magnetic clamping apparatus is provided to clamp easily two steel sheets by using an electromagnet at a lower portion regardless of a constraint of a regular position. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic clamping apparatus comprises a hydraulic actuator mounted onto one side of a jig base(3), an electromagnet locator(15), an approaching sensor(17), and a 3-way solenoid valve(19).
