Abstract: PURPOSE: A PTO(power take-off) and a control method thereof are provided to control an engine properly in operating the power take-off by using information applied to the engine control unit, and to improve convenience and durability and reduce exhaust gas and fuel consumption by automatically controlling with the engine control unit. CONSTITUTION: A PTO comprises a PTO switch(20) turned on and off by a user; a clutch pedal switch(30) turned on and off according to operation of a clutch pedal; a vehicle speed sensor(40) detecting velocity of a vehicle; an engine control unit(60) operating an engine base on the fuel amount calculated according to the PTO position and engine rpm if the vehicle speed is zero and the clutch pedal switch is turned off in turning on the PTO switch; and a PTO solenoid valve(70) generating power by transmitting vacuum pressure to a PTO vacuum cylinder(80) with operating according to control of the engine control unit. The engine operates properly in actuating the PTO by using information input to the engine control unit.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A system and a method for controlling fuel compensation are provided to achieve improved performance of engine and vehicle by expanding range of the fuel compensation during travel on high lands. CONSTITUTION: A system comprises an input side and an output side. The input side includes an engine RPM sensor(12), a vehicle speed sensor(14), a coolant temperature sensor(16), an atmospheric pressure sensor(18), an air temperature sensor(20), an altitude sensor(22), and a diaphragm position sensor(24) mounted on the fuel injection pump, which detects the current position of the diaphragm elevating in accordance with the vacuum pressure being applied to a pipe. The output side includes a booster pressure adjusting solenoid valve(10) controlled by an engine control unit which is arranged on the pipe, and compares electrical signals input from the input side, performs arithmetic operation to the input signal, and outputs the result.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A back pressure controlling device and method of an engine are provided to automatically control the flow and the back pressure of exhaust gas according to the driven status of a vehicle and the driving condition of the engine. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust pipe(300) guides exhaust gas from an engine(370) to the outside. An isolating plate(310) forms a variable exhaust passage(360) by installing inside the exhaust pipe. A back pressure control valve(320) is installed in the variable exhaust passage. A sensor unit(330) detects the driving condition of the engine. An ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(340) outputs a back pressure control signal if the operated driving condition is a back pressure control condition by analyzing signals from the sensor unit. A back pressure control actuator(350) opens and shuts the back pressure control valve according to the back pressure control signal from the ECU.

CONSTITUTION: An engine has a cylinder head; a cylinder block; a piston(3); a piston ring contacted to the cylinder and fitted to the piston to prevent leak of compressed gas; a ring groove(9) formed on the upper part of the piston ring; a blow-by gas shutoff ring(10) protruded upward and inserted to the ring groove; and a ring combination groove(14) formed in the cylinder head and combined with the blow-by gas shutoff ring protruded on the piston at the top dead center of the piston.
