Abstract: Disclosed is a stabilizer composition comprising A) at least one nitrogen compound having a molecular weight of at least 150, selected from a secondary amine, wherein all substituents in the alpha position in relation to the amine-nitrogen atom are different from hydrogen, or a tertiary amine derived from a secondary amine, hydroxyl amine, alkoxyl amine or amide; and at least one iron compound. The stabilizer composition optionally contains nitroxyl radicals. Said composition is suitable for stabilizing inanimate organic material, especially styrene polyolefins or homopolymers or copolymers, against the effects of light, heat or oxygen.
