Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the communication equipment that is remotely controlled by a dial pulse from a telephone set connected in parallel with the communication equipment. SOLUTION: The communication equipment is provided with a transformer 2-16 that is placed to a line and has a primary winding and a secondary winding and signals and a state of the line are monitored. A secondary output of the transformer 2-16 is rectified by a diode bridge circuit 2-17 and the rectified signal is converted into a rectangular wave by a Schmitt trigger 2-18. Then a transistor(TR) 2-19 is switched on/off by an output of the Schmitt trigger 2-18 and charging/discharge of an integration circuit consisting of a resistor 2-20 and a capacitor 2-21 is controlled, a ramp wave of the integration circuit is shaped into a rectangular wave signal by a Schmitt trigger 2-22 and a CPU counts the outputs to monitor signals on the line and receives a signal from a telephone set connected in parallel remotely.

When the user rejects the speech, the user depresses a predetermined remote ID number, it is detected via the MODEM 1-11 and the CPU 1-1, the line is once acquired, then the line is released after the lapse of a wait time of 500ms and the equipment restores to the standby mode.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To facilitate the discrimination of an original image and a copied image by recording a prescribed pattern with prescribed resolution and recording the pattern as a different pattern when the pattern is copied by a copying device with low resolution. CONSTITUTION: Based on a first recording mode recording an image on a medium to be recorded based on the image data which is read by a reader 3 and inputted and a second recording mode which is different from the image for the medium to be recorded, a control means controls the driving of a recording part 11. The recording part 11 records the image based on input image data and a prescribed pattern on the medium to be recorded. When this prescribed pattern is recorded with prescribed resolution and is copied by a copying device whose resolution is lower than the prescribed resolution, the pattern is recorded as a different pattern. When the prescribed pattern is the dot pattern in which plural dots are arrayed at prescribed space, a footer mark which is painted black is recorded because the copying machine with low resolution is not capable of the pattern of a mark.
