    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts by a method wherein an opening part is provided to a component, a plurality of grooves are provided to the opening part, an element substrate is fitted to the opening part of the component, and a liquid channel is composed of the element substrate and the grooves of the opening part. SOLUTION: A liquid discharge head is composed of an element substrate 1, a component with grooves 50, and an orifice film 51. A plurality of heating elements 2 for giving heat to discharge liquid are provided in a line. The component with grooves 50 has an opening 52 into which the element substrate 1 is inserted. A plurality of grooves 53 corresponding to respective heating elements 2 on the element substrate 1 are formed on an inside face of the opening part 52. By bonding of the element substrate 1 to the component with grooves 50, a discharge channel through which discharge liquid to be discharged flows is formed. Further, an orifice film 51 blockading the opening part 52 of the component with grooves 50 is bonded to the component with grooves 50. The orifice film 51 is composed of a resin film and metal. A plurality of discharge opening 18 are arranged on the orifice film 51 by corresponding to each grooves 53 of the component with grooves 50.

SOLUTION: A movable member 31 is provided at a position opposed to a downstream side part to bubble 40 generated by heating of a heater 2. Part of liquid filled in a bubble generating region 11 is heated by the heat to generate bubble as a membrane boils. At this time, the member 31 is displaced to introduce its pressure propagating direction to a discharge port direction by pressure based on the generation of the bubble 40. A free end 32 of the member 31 is disposed at a downstream side, a fulcrum 33 is disposed at an upstream side, and at least part of the member 33 is opposed to a downstream part of the heater 2. The member 31 is gradually displaced in response to growth of the bubble 40, and hence bubble growing direction can be uniformly directed to the discharge port to enhance its discharging efficiency.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid jet recording head in which abutting characteristics between the jet port plate of a top plate and an element substrate can be enhanced without causing any damage on the surface of the jet port plate. SOLUTION: Surface of the jet port plate 2 of a top plate 1 constituting a liquid jet recording head is measured by laser displacement gauges 10a, 10b. Based on a measurement data, abutting pins 11a, 11b pushing the rear end of an element substrate 3 having a plurality of jet energy generating elements 4 are moved such that the liquid jet side end face of the element substrate 3 will be in parallel with the jet port plate 2. Subsequently, the liquid jet side end face of the element substrate 3 is abutted against the jet port plate 2 and the top plate 1 is aligned with the element substrate 3. According to the structure, the jet port plate 2 can be abutted against the element substrate 3 surely without causing any damage on the jet port plate 2.

The adhesive 3 is hardened thereafter. Highly accurate positioning and stable mounting can be realized efficiently and a mount Tact is shortened.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid jet recording head in which adhesion at a bonding part is stabilized and reliability of ink jet performance is enhanced by pushing the bonding position of the groove part of a top plate and an element board stably and accurately at the end part of a leaf spring member. SOLUTION: A leaf spring member 1 for urging a top plate 3 and an element board 2 constituting a liquid jet recording head set in a fixing jig 17 is moved in the direction of Z axis while being secured to a spring fitting jig 19. Pushing part, e.g. the forward end part, of a leaf spring piece 7 in the leaf spring member 1 is located by means of a proximity sensor 9 and regulated at a preset position thus correcting the positioning. When the leaf spring member 1 is set to the top plate 3 under that state, the part where the groove part 4 of the top plate 3 is bonded to a heater of the element board 2 is pushed accurately regardless of dimensional fluctuation of the leaf spring member 1 and adhesion at the bonding part is stabilized while enhancing the reliability of ink jet performance.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To distribute uniformly an adhesive on an adhesive face by a method wherein a recessed part is provided at a part covered with a separating wall component of a liquid channel forming component, an adhesive is contained in the recessed part, and the separating wall component is fixed. SOLUTION: After obtaining an element substrate 1 equipped with a heating element 2, a coat layer 91 having a recessed part 91 for containing an adhesive 62 fixing a barrier 91a forming a liquid channel and a separating wall 30, is formed on the coat layer of the element substrate 1. Thereafter, a suitable amount of the adhesive 62 considered as an ordinary temperature setting type one which is comparatively little in setting contraction is applied in the recessed part 92, and the separating wall 30 is so positioned that each movable component 31 corresponds to a heating element 2, and bonded. Since the separating wall 30 is supported with the coat layer 91 thereby, the adhesive comes to be contained by a specific uniform thickness in the recessed part 92, and distance between the movable component 31 and the heating element 2 can be kept at a specific distance without any dispersion. Therefore, a stable discharge performance is obtained.
