A suction system for removal of exudate from a wound comprises a wound cover which is attachable to a wound circumference of a living being thereby to form an enclosure, and a pump in fluid communication with the enclosure to provide a pressure difference between a negative pressure in the enclosure and an air pressure of an ambient space. A deflectable member is arranged such with respect to the enclosure that the pressure difference may cause deflection of the deflectable member, and a pressure sensing device is located outside the enclosure and arranged to provide a signal in response to the pressure or the deflection of the deflectable member. The deflectable member forms an essentially air tight barrier between the sensor and the enclosure.

A device for stimulating the healing of a wound comprises a separating means having a fluid inlet and a gas outlet. The separating means may constitute a collecting container for collecting fluid pumped from the wound. A pump for applying negative pressure comprises pump head and a drive unit. The pump head is connected to the gas outlet of the separating means, and the pump head is detachably attached to the drive unit, so that in use the fluid inlet of the separating means is connected to a wound cover, e.g. via a conduit.

The irrigation system comprises a reservoir for an irrigation liquid; a tubing system with a first end connectable to the reservoir, and a second end connectable to a catheter for provision of a first fluid path for the irrigation liquid between the reservoir and the catheter comprising a distal end for expelling irrigation liquid from the catheter; one or more pressure sensors including a first pressure sensor for provision of a first pressure signal; a pump operable to pump the irrigation liquid from the reservoir to the second end of the tubing system; and a control system connected to the first pressure sensor and configured to operate the pump based on the first pressure signal, wherein the tubing system comprises a pressure channel and a first membrane, wherein the first membrane is arranged between the first fluid path and the pressure channel, and the first pressure sensor is configured to measure the pressure in the pressure channel.
