Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a hair cosmetic, containing a water-dispersible polyester resin and a water-soluble film-forming resin, excellent in hairdressing power and set holding properties and capable of imparting the smoothness and gloss to the hair. CONSTITUTION:This hair cosmetic contains a water-dispersible polyester obtained by condensing diethylene glycol with cyclohexanedimethanol, isophthalic acid and sulfoisophthalic acid in an amount of 0.01-10wt.% based on the whole composition and a water-soluble film-forming resin (e.g. a copolymer of an acrylic or a methacrylic acid ester and carboxybetaine dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate) in an amount of 0.01-10wt.% based on the whole composition. The hair cosmetic can be prepared as a hair blow, a hair spray, a hair foam, a pump type hair spray, a lotion, a hair gel, a hair mist, etc.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prepare a hair cosmetic with nearly no damage to hair in use, sufficiently setting effect, providing hair with luster while preventing damage after use, supplying a drying natural touch. The cosmetic is further mixed with 0.001-10wt.%, preferably 0.01-0.1wt.% calculated as a solid content of a plant extract to increase preventing effect on split yarn and cut yarn.

The copolymer has high water-solubility and a cosmetic compounded with the copolymer gives extremely comfortable feeling in application, causes little stickiness even in humid atmosphere and has suppressed hygroscopicity.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve handling and keep the direction of the injection of contents so that it stays the same, by connecting a stem engagement part, which engages a push-button, to a flexible part. SOLUTION: By detaching a cap to use and then depressing a push-button 9, for example, from the position of the arrow A decentered from the axis of an injection valve 11, while flexing a flexible part 14 via a stem engagement part 13 a stem 7 deforms stem rubber 11b and moves down inside a housing 11a, so that the inside and outside of a container 4 communicate with each other. Consequently, contents filled in the container 4 are injected from an injection nozzle 8 via an outlet 21 and an injection passage 20 under gas pressure. In this manner, when the push-button 9 is depressed from the decentered position A, the flexible part 14 flexes in the direction of the arrow A and the stem engagement part 13 inclines in the direction of the arrow A. However, because the flexible part 14 is easy to flex, an amount of the inclination is small, and the injection nozzle 8 and injection valve 11 are positioned almost on the axis. Therefore, the direction of the injection is fixed to almost the same direction.

SOLUTION: This hair cosmetic contains 1-10wt.% of a water-soluble polysaccharide bearing a 2-30C hydrocarbon group or a hydrophobic group of formula I, formula II, or formula III (R is a 2-30C hydrocarbon; X is a halogen). It is desired that the 10wt.% ethanol-containing aqueous solution containing 2wt.% of this water-soluble polysaccharide has a viscosity of 1-30cp at 25 deg.C under 30rpm stirring. The proportion of the hydrophobic group in this water-soluble polysaccharide is preferably 0.001-0.5 mole per mole of the anhydrous glucose recurring unit or per mole of the constituting monosaccharide. Further, the average molecular weight of the water-soluble polysaccharide bearing hydrophobic group is 5,000-250,000 and particularly guar gum, hydroxyethylated cellulose, pullulan or carboxymethylchitosan into which a group of the formula III is introduced is preferred. This polysaccharide is combined with a coating layer- forming polymer and oil to suitably give a non-aerosol hair foam or aerosol hair foam.

A hair-treating agent is changed into the spray container to give the hair cosmetic.

The hair cosmetic can be prepared as a hair conditioner, a hair treatment, a hair cream, a styling lotion, a styling mousse, a conditioning mouse, a hair spray, a hair mist, a hair foam, a hair gel, a hair blow, etc.
