    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the back flow of ozone form an inlet port provided for the back surface of the subject deodorizing device and to prevent the leakage of ozone to the inside of a cell even when the circulation of wind by a fan is stopped because of the failure of an electric blower, etc., and ozone is continuously generated with an ozonizer by composing the deodorizing device of the inert port, a high voltage generating device, the ozonizer, an ozone decomposing medium, and the electric blower in a sequence from the inlet port arranged on the bottom face. CONSTITUTION:A deodorizing device 23 is essentially composed of an inlet port 25, a high voltage generating device 27, an ozonizer 28, an ozone decomposing medium 31, an electric blower 32 in the sequence from the inlet port 25. Further, the deodorizing device 23 sucks air containing an offensive odor in a refrigerator 16 from the inlet port 25 by the electric blower 32, generates ozone with the high voltage generating device 27 and the ozonizer 28, and decomposes and removes an offensive odor component by the oxidizing power of ozone in a reaction chamber 30. Even when the failure that ozone is continuously generated by the ozonizer 28 occurs, excessive ozone is decomposed in the ozone decomposing medium 31, and a trouble that ozone leaks through the inlet port 25 in the refrigerator 16 because of the back flow from the ozonizer 28 can be prevented.

SOLUTION: A glass tube 71, a heater 70, a cap 72 provided on both end surface of the glass tube 71, a glass tube heater 66 composed of lead wire 73 are arranged adjacently to the cooler 61 of a freezing cycle adopting flammable coolant. A protecting member 76 is attached to the cover whole surface of the glass tube 71.     Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator improved in the heat exchange efficiency of a machine room by the configuration of an air duct structure and a component of the room. SOLUTION: The machine room is divided into an air suction duct 57 side and an air exhaust duct 58 side by a partition plate 55. A finned condenser 36 and an evaporating tray 39 are disposed at the duct 57 side. A compressor 34 is disposed at the duct 58 side. An atmosphere input from one side of a front surface of the room 22 is fed to the duct 58 by a forced ventilation blower 41 through the duct 57. Thus, the room air duct for discharging exhaust heat of the front surface of the room 33 to the other side is formed so that the exhaust heat is not obstructed irrespective of the installing conditions of the refrigerator.

Further, an opening and closing valve 8 is arranged between the refrigerant distributor 3 and the second pressure reducer 9, a temperature detector 12 is placed in the vicinity of the compressor 7, and a control means 13 to control opening and closing of the opening and closing valve 8 through the temperature detector 12 is provided. In addition, a coolant pipe 10 is provided in the compressor 7, and a third pressure reducer 11 is arranged between the second pressure reducer 9 and the suction pipe 6, and between the coolant pipe 10 and the suction pipe 6 respectively.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform an automatic ice storing operation for ice having a high degree of transparency and a high degree of purity and to get superior ice suitable for drinking by a method wherein means is provided for separating water including gaseous substances or impurities discharged as the ice is being produced and making a thickness of ice uniform. CONSTITUTION:A freezing action is promoted from an upper part of an ice making pan 33 to a lower part of the pan, gaseous substances solved in water or various impurities are crystalized out of ice crystal and then they are discharged into non-freezed water. In order to leave the non-freezed water and complete an ice making mode B with a predetermined ice thickness, an ice freezing speed is indirectly sensed at a temperature of a freezing chamber 26 sensed by Fcc 60 arranged in the freezing chamber 26. It is judged by a feeding speed discriminating means that a freezing speed is fast when the temperature is low. The feeding speed is delayed and in turn when the temperature is high, the feeding speed is made fast. These times are calculated by an ice making time calculating and discriminating means 63. After a specified calculation time elapses, a control to get a predetermined ice thickness required is carried out by a control device 61.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the deodorizing device which does not leak ozonized air of the extent of harming the human body to the outside of the device even in the case of generation of a fault in a fan and has high safety by using a backflow preventive weir formed on the upstream side of an ozone generator. CONSTITUTION:The backflow preventive weir 40 is formed from above to below in a blast passage 32 on the upstream side of the ozone generator 35 and the easy back flow of the ozonized air to a suction port 33 is prevented by the backflow resistance thereof in the event of the operation failure of a fan 37 by generation of a fault, such as locking of a fan 38 by foreign matter, etc., or the disconnection of the winding of a motor 39. The ozonized air stagnating in an ozone reaction part 41, therefore, flows gradually toward a discharge pot 34 in a normal route while this air is decomposed by the natural convection via an ozone decomposing catalyst 36.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent food from oxidation, deterioration of taste and the like and permit long period preservation with the optimum temperature and humidity by a method wherein first, second and third storage chambers are formed from the upper part of a case, a storage vessel equipped with a moisture permeable lid is provided in the second storage chamber, another storage vessel whose upper surface is opened is provided in the third storage chamber while the temperatures in respective storage chambers are maintained at 0-15 deg.C and humidities in the first and third storage chambers are maintained below about 50% when an atmospheric temperature is lower than the range of reference temperature. CONSTITUTION:A storage vessel 11, provided in a second storage chamber 9, consists of a vessel 12 and a moisture permeable film lid body 13. Another storage vessel 14, whose upper surface is opened, is provided in a third storage chamber 10. The operation and stop of a compressor 18 and a fan 20 are controlled optimally and temperatures in respective first, second and third storage chambers 8, 9, 10 are maintained at 10-15 deg.C, which are within the range of reference temperatures. When an atmospheric temperature has become lower than 10-15 deg.C of the range of reference temperatures of respective first, second and third storage chambers 8, 9, 10, the temperatures in the chambers are reduced and maintained at 10-15 deg.C while humidities in respective chambers are maintained lower than about 50% since the temperature sensitive unit 21b of a thermostat 21 is provided in air at the downstream side of a cooler 19.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent an ice making time for clear ice as well as normal ice from being prolonged by disposing a separating plate having multiple holes in it under a cooling plate, and forming a first air passage between the cooling plate and separating plate and a second air passage between the separating plate and a second ice making tray. CONSTITUTION:Cold air cooled in a cooling unit 5 flows into a first air passage from an air inlet 28 by the forced draft of a fan 6 to cool a cooling plate 13, and a first ice making tray 15 is cooled indirectly from under. At the same time, the first ice making tray 15 is heated from above by a heater 11 via a heating plate 12. Thus, the freezing gradually advances from the bottom to make clear ice. Since the leading end of the first air passage is closed by the L-shaped bend of the separating plate 23, cold air passes through multiple small holes 27 in the separating plate 23 to enter a second air passage 26, i.e. the space above a second ice making tray 16. As the cold air passes through the second air passage 26, the water surface in the second ice making tray 16 is cooled to make normal ice.
