Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the reduction of a pressure in a refrigerator even when the inside of the refrigerator is cooled and make a big force unnecessary upon opening the door of the refrigerator by a method wherein a groove, communicating the inside of the refrigerator with the outside of the same, is formed on an abutting surface of a frame, opened in the upper surface thereof and connecting an inner casing to.an outer casing, against a gasket. CONSTITUTION:In a refrigerator, installed at the underfloor or the like of a kitchen, a bent frame 3 is attached to the whole periphery of an opening 2, formed on the level of a floor 1, and a refrigerator main body, constituted of a heat insulating box body 5, whose upper surface is opened, and a heat insulating door 6, opening and/or closing the opening, is installed in the opening part surrounded by the bent frame 3. In this case, a plurality of grooves 22, having a size longer than the abutting surface against a gasket 15 attached to the heat insulating door 6, are formed on a frame 21, attached to the opening ends of an outer casing 8 and an inner casing 9, which constitute the heat insulating box body 5 and made of a synthetic resin, to communicate the inside of the refrigerator with the outside of the same through these grooves 22. The inside of the refrigerator is communicated with the outside of the refrigerator through the grooves 22 in such a manner whereby the pressure of inside of the refrigerator will never be reduced in accordance with the cooling of the inside of the same while the door can be opened by a small force.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator improved in the heat exchange efficiency of a machine room by the configuration of an air duct structure and a component of the room. SOLUTION: The machine room is divided into an air suction duct 57 side and an air exhaust duct 58 side by a partition plate 55. A finned condenser 36 and an evaporating tray 39 are disposed at the duct 57 side. A compressor 34 is disposed at the duct 58 side. An atmosphere input from one side of a front surface of the room 22 is fed to the duct 58 by a forced ventilation blower 41 through the duct 57. Thus, the room air duct for discharging exhaust heat of the front surface of the room 33 to the other side is formed so that the exhaust heat is not obstructed irrespective of the installing conditions of the refrigerator.

SOLUTION: This refrigerator has a freezing cycle comprising a compressor 22, a condenser 23, a first evaporator 24 provided in a refrigeration temperature region, a second evaporator 25 provided in freezing temperature region, a first depressurization means 26 provided upstream of the first evaporator, a second depressurization means 36 provided upstream of the second evaporator, and a refrigerant flow controller 27 provided downstream of the first evaporator, and this enhances the freezing cycle efficiency and suppresses the indoor temperature fluctuations and sterilization work so as to raise food refrigeration property, by controlling the refrigerant flow controller 27 with a first evaporator detection means 34 and controlling the compressor 22 with a freezing chamber temperature detection means 37 and reducing the difference in the evaporation temperature between the interior of the refrigerator and the evaporator.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a freezer compartment in a specified temperature even when the surrounding temperature is lowered by turning on/off a bimetal when a refrigerator is subjected to a temperature lower than the open air and increasing a calorific value by upgrading the input of a heat sensitive heater provided in a heat sensitive section of a thermostat. SOLUTION: A body heater is set up on a body of a thermostat 8 which detects the temperature in a cold storage compartment 2 and controls the operation of a compressor 4. In addition to that, a heat sensitive hater 10 is set up in a heat sensitive area of the thermostat 8. The body heater 9 and the heat sensitive heater 10 are connected to each other in series while an open air detection means 11 is connected the body heater in parallel. When the open air temperature is below a specified temperature, the open air temperature detection 11, which is a bimetal, switched on and off, thereby increasing the input of the heat sensitive heater and increasing the amount of calorific value. This construction makes it possible to keep a freezer compartment at a specified temperature even when the surrounding temperature is lowered.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To shorten a time required for a freezing chamber and a refrigerating chamber to be restored to prescribed temperatures after a power failure, by stopping electrification of a blower fan for a time set beforehand in the case when a condenser temperature sensor detects an upper-limit set temperature or above after a prescribed time passes after a power supply is made. CONSTITUTION: In the case when both of temperatures detected by a room temperature sensor 14 and a freezing chamber temperature sensor 9 are set values or above immediately after the start of operations of a compressor 4 and a blower fan 7, it is judged whether or not a temperature detected by a condenser temperature sensor 23 is an upper-limit set value or above after a prescribed time passes. While an ordinary control routine is executed as it is when the detected temperature is below the upper-limit set value, electrification of the blower fan 7 is stopped when the detected temperature is the upper- limit set value or above, and the electrification of the blower fan 7 is restarted after a time set beforehand passes. At the time of a power failure, according to this constitution, a time required for a freezing chamber and a refrigerating chamber to be restored to prescribed temperatures after the electrification is restarted, and thereby the effect on stored foodstuff can be reduced.

SOLUTION: A first evaporator 17 is provided in a refrigeration temperature region, and a second evaporator 20 in a freezing temperature region, and a first defrosting heater 25a is provided in the vicinity of the first evaporator, and a second defrosting heater 25b in the vicinity of the second evaporator; and when defrosting the second evaporator, it is precooled, and then a current is applied to the second defrosting heater, and also during the precooling operation, a current is applied to the first defrosting heater, whereby the defrosting time of the first evaporator 17 can be set longer than the defrosting time of the second evaporator 20, and at the finish of the defrosting of the second evaporator 20, since sufficient defrosting is performed for the first evaporator 17, the remaining of frost of the evaporator will not occur, and a highly reliable cooling system can be obtained.
