    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance the durability and reliability of bearings used as well as to stabilize the efficiency and startability of a motor in order to enhance the efficiency of a hermetic type motor driven compressor used for a refrigerator and the like. CONSTITUTION:A device is made up of a crank shaft 20 fixed onto a rotor 5 acting as a motor driven element 2, an eccentric shaft 21 provided for the crank shaft 20, shaft sections 20a and 20b provided for both the sides of the eccentric shaft 21 in the axial direction, and of two ball bearings 23 and 24 rotatably supporting the crank shaft 20.

CONSTITUTION:A closed-type motor-driven compressor is formed of a master crankshaft 20a, an auxiliary crankshaft 20b, a ball bearing 23 press-fitted to the master crankshaft 20a, a sliding bearing 24 with the auxiliary crankshaft 20b fitted thereto, and a housing 25 with which the outer wheel 23a of the ball bearing 23 is brought into contact.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the coolant staying in a suction chamber and prevent the heating of coolant gas by inserting the communication pipe of a suction muffler formed by the material having a low thermal conductivity into an insertion hole on a cylinder head and forming an opened port opposed to the suction hole. CONSTITUTION:As for a compression element 3 accommodated in a sealed container 1, a cylinder 6 is installed on a cylinder head 4 through a valve plate 5 by a screw N. In this case, an insertion pipe 7 is inserted into a suction muffler 9 made of synthetic resin, and a communication pipe 10 which is integrally molded with the lower part 9b of a suction muffler 9 is allowed to penetrate through the insertion hole 4a of the cylinder head 4, and a part of the pipe 10 is positioned in a suction chamber 4b. The communication pipe 10 is formed into cylindrical form, and the undersurface is formed into an arcuate form so as to contact the undersurface of the suction chamber 4b, and an opened port 10b is formed upwardly from the lower edge at the position faced to the suction hole 5a of the valve plate 5. Accordingly, the thermal influence supplied from the cylinder head 4 is suppressed, and the heating of the coolant gas is prevented, and the volume efficiency is improved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve assembly work performance and increase volume efficiency by inserting the communication pipe of a suction muffler shaped by the material having the low thermal conductivity in an insertion hole of a cylinder head and installing a cap having the low thermal conductivity on the periphery of a suction hole and the penetration chamber of the cylinder head. CONSTITUTION:As for a compression element 3 accommodated in a sealed container 1, a cylinder head 4 is installed on one edge side of a cylinder 6 through a valve plate 5 by a screw N. In this case, an insertion pipe 7 is inserted into a suction muffler 9 made of synthetic resin, and a communication pipe 10 which is integrally molded with the lower part 9b of the suction muffler 9 is inserted into the insertion hole 4a of the cylinder head 4. A cap 11 is arranged in a penetration chamber 4b, and the communication pipe 10 of the suction muffler 9 penetrates through the insertion hole 4a of the cylinder head 4 and the hole 11c of the cap 11, and a part of the pipe 10 is positioned in the cap 11. Accordingly, the sucked gas is introduced into the suction hole without being warmed by the cylinder head 4 made of metal, and the volume efficiency is improved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent over-compression and reduce input by providing two discharge mufflers in a cylinder block to afford communication between a discharge chamber and the two discharge mufflers through a communicating hole. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder block 53 is provided with communicating holes 56, 1 symmetrical about the axis of a cylinder 54, and discharge mufflers 57, 2 are mounted symmetrically about the axis of cylinder 54. These discharge mufflers 2, 57 communicate to each other through a communicating pipe 3. Refrigerant gas discharged to a discharge chamber 55a passes through the communicating holes 1, 56 to be respectively discharged to the discharge mufflers 2, 57. The refrigerant gas discharged to the discharge muffler 2 passes through the communicating pipe 3 to be introduced to the discharge muffler 57, passes through a discharge line 59 together with the refrigerant gas in the discharge muffler 57 to be introduced into a discharge pipe 58. Thus, over- compression can be prevented.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make a suction valve open while twisting it and satisfactorily follow a piston to increase suction efficiency, by positioning the axis of a tray pan part installed at one end of a suction port eccentrically from the center of an arc which forms a part of the valve end part of the suction valve. CONSTITUTION:When a piston 10 is reciprocated, refrigerant gas passes a suction port 12 of a valve plate 11, and sucked into a cylinder 6 by the opening and closing of a suction valve 13. In this case, the suction valve 13 opens the suction port 12 with its valve end part 13a twisted, and is set in parallel with the suction port 12. Namely a tray pan part 12a is installed at one end of the suction port 12, and an axis 12b is positioned eccentrically from the center 13b of an arc which forms a part of the valve end part 13a. Accordingly the suction valve 13 makes a torsional motion of relatively low rigidity, and satisfactorily follows the reciprocating motion of the piston 10. Then the refrigerant gas passes a delivery port 3 of the valve plate 11 after it is compressed in the cylinder 6, and is discharged according to the opening and closing of a delivery valve 4.
