    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a footing receiving plate for a footing packing process, which is excellent in compression strength, dimensional stability and moldability, and is lightweight, and which offers a less quantity of ash even through it is burnt up. SOLUTION: A polyolefin compound composed of 30 to 70wt.% of polyolefin whose melt-flow rate(MFR: ASTM D-1238-65T) is 5 to 200g/10min. under 2.16kg load at 230 deg. C, and 70 to 30wt.% of wood chip consisting of more than 80wt.% of those having a particle size of less than 355μm and less than 10wt.% of those having a particle size of greater than 2.8mm, and less than 2wt.% of water is formed into a footing receiving plate under injection and press molding.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deformation of a neck part and a bottom part of a bottle to be small when the filled contents are heated and sterilized by forming a self-standing bottle of the polyester composition in which the prescribed quantity of polyester and polyester elastomer are blended. SOLUTION: In manufacturing a bottle in which carbonated beverage is filled and heating and sterilization is performed, the polyester composition formed of 97-99.99wt.% polyester and 0.01-3wt.% polyester elastomer is used. When the bottle 1 is tested in a hot bath in which the bottle is immersed in the hot bath of 70 deg.C for one hour under the condition that the beverage with carbon dioxide of 2.5 gas volume at 23 deg.C is filled and the bottle is sealed, the condition that the dimensional change in the height direction of the bottle is =10 deg..

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To hold the self-supporting properties of a bottle without deforming the bottle even when the bottle filled with a carbonated beverage in a hermetically state is heated and sterilized by satisfying specified conditions when a bottle made of a polyester compsn. composed of polyester containing rosin or a derivative thereof in a specific amt. and filled with a carbonated beverage is subjected to a hot bath test in a hermetically sealed state. CONSTITUTION: A bottle 1 is composed of a polyester compsn. consisting of 97-99.99wt.% of polyester and 0.01-3wt.% of rosin or a derivative thereof and, when a hot bath test immersing the bottle filled with carbonated beverage of 2.5 gas vol. at 23 deg.C in a hot bath of 70 deg.C in a hermetically sealed state is performed, the bottle satisfies conditions such that the dimensional change rate in the height direction of the bottle filled with a carbonated beverage before and after the hot bath test is 5% or less and the dimensional change rate in the body diameter direction thereof is 5% or less and the falling angle of the bottle after the hot bath test is 10 deg. or more.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a rectangular bottle made of plastic wherein residual strain is constant, dimensional stability on deformation, contraction, inflation, etc., are excellent little, dispersion occurs in wall thickness, and it is economically excellent by a method wherein a thickness at each height of a trunk is specified. CONSTITUTION:A relation of a thickness (y) at each position excepting a bottle top stopper part to mean thickness (x) in a horizontal direction is as given in the formula. In polyethylene terephthalate resin used as raw material, intrinsic-viscosity [eta] (a value measured at 25 deg.C in O-chlorophenol) is generall 0.6-1.5dl/g and preferably 0.7-1.2l/g. Further, a melting point measured with a differential scanning calorimeter(DSC) is generally 210 deg.C-265 deg.C and preferably 220 deg.C-260 deg.C.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce keeping cost or transport cost by subjecting a preform for forming a bottle composed of a synthetic resin to streching blow within a mold to mold the bottle and reducing the volume of the molded bottle within the mold so as to make the same smaller than that at the time of the filling of the bottle with content. CONSTITUTION:A preform 1 for forming a bottle composed of a synthetic resin is heated to stretching aptitude temp. and subjected to stretching blow within molds 9a, 9b having a plurality of gas introducing ports 11 to form a bottle 3. For example, the bottle 3 thus obtained is constituted of a non-flexible mouth part whose diameter is smaller than that of a body part, the body part having flexibility, a shoulder part having higher rigidity and larger wall thickness as compared with the body part and a bottom part. Subsequently, the volume of the bottle 3 is reduced within the molds 9a, 9b to produce a volume decreased bottle 10. For example, when the reduction ratio of,the inner volume of the bottle 10 is set to 50%, the bottle 10 can be kept or transported in quantity about twice that of the bottle 3 before decreased in volume.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a bottle with an excellent heat resistance, for which the adsorption of a taste component or fragrance component, etc., is reduced by keeping the body part of the bottle under a mean crystallinity of a specified range for an oriented bottle made of polyester. CONSTITUTION:A pre-form is obtained by forming a copolymer polyester by an injection forming machine, and the pre-form is heated by an infrared ray heater in such a manner that the central surface temperature of the pre-form body 4 may become 115 deg., and orientation-blown by a forming machine, and thus, a bottle 1 is formed. In addition, this bottle is heat-set for not less than 3 seconds at a die temperature of 110-200 deg., and the mean crystallinity of the bottle body part 4 is made to be 32-70%. Then, the heat-set bottle 1 is cooled from the inside and outside, and taken out from the die. By this method, since the crystallinity of the bottle body part 4 is large, a bottle with an excellent non-adsorption property and heat resistance can be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To quickly remove an adsorbed material from a polyester bottle to enable the reuse of the bottle by keeping a polyester bottle having a bottle body part having a specific average crystallinity in an atmosphere of a specific temperature, thereby desorbing the material adsorbed on the bottle. CONSTITUTION:A polyester resin (e.g. polyethylene terephthalate) is molded by an injection molding machine. The formed preform is heated to the surface temperature of 90-100 deg.C at the middle of the preform body part and formed by a drawing blow molding with a molding machine to obtain a polyester bottle 1 having an average crystallinity of 32-70% at the body part 4 of the bottle. Methanol (or p-xylene) is poured into the bottle 1, left standing at 25 deg.C for 7 days and discharged from the bottle. The bottle is washed with distilled water of 20 deg.C and dried to effect the adsorption of methanol (or p-xylene) to the bottle and the bottle 1 is maintained in an atmosphere of 40-150 deg.C for 4hr to quickly desorb and remove the material adsorbed on the polyester bottle 1.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide resistance to stress crack and prevent the generation of cracks on the bottom because of the temperature, water content, a chemical and solvent by stretch blowing a saturated polyester preform, molding a bottle and then annealing the same. CONSTITUTION:A preform is formed by saturated polyester, and the heating temperature of saturated polyester at the time of molding the preform is desirably set in the range of 90-110 deg.C when the saturated polyester to be used is polyethylene terephthalate, and then the formed preform is heated up to the temperature fit for stretching, and stretch blown in a mold to form a bottle 1. Then, annealing is carried out. The annealing is desirably carried out for 12-48 hours at the temperature of 30-70 deg.C preferably under the state that the bottle 1 is unrestrained. The bottle thus manufactured is of superior resistance to stress crack.

CONSTITUTION:The volume of a container 1 made of a synthetic resin under an empty condition is reduced than the volume of the container under a content filled condition, and a plurality of the containers 1 made of a synthetic resin with the reduced volume, e.g. a plurality of the containers 1 made of a synthetic resin with the reduced volume in a bag 5 are tied by a tying member 7 to each other, together with the bag 5, etc., to tie the containers 1 made of a synthetic resin.
