PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server-less peer-to-peer data network system for content transfer between wireless devices.SOLUTION: The system includes: a first wireless device having a first address and content; and a second wireless device. The first wireless device transmits a message including the first address via a first service. The second wireless device receives the message from the first wireless device, establishes a communication path to the first address via a second service, and receives the content from the first wireless device. The method includes transmitting of a message from the first wireless device to the second wireless device via the first service, wherein the message includes the first address. The method further includes: establishing of a communication path to the first address via the second service by the second wireless device; and receiving of the content from the first wireless device after the message is received from the first wireless device.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for activating a feature related to a wireless device, and to provide a method and a computer program. SOLUTION: A feature 325 on a carrier server 335 includes additional functions and services that add capability to or accessed by a wireless device 300. The additional functions and services include such as voice mail, voice recognition, access to GPS, MPEG functions, and access to a data channel or increased data rates. The wireless device 300 downloads a component 305 from a download server 315 and the carrier server 335 activates the feature 325. An expiration parameter or other licensing term may be associated with the requested feature 325. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication device and an input device interface used for the same type of devices. SOLUTION: A mobile electronic device includes: an earphone/microphone port; an I/O circuit to receive a modulated data signal from data input devices via the earphone/microphone port; and a processor unit programmed to extract data from the modulated data signal. The processor unit (or the I/O circuit) detects connection of a device to an earphone/microphone connector of the mobile electronic device and determines whether the connected device is a data input device or not. SOLUTION: This method is provided for transmitting data from a server to a plurality of receiving terminals. The method also includes comparing the response value to an acknowledgement value at each receiving terminal, and transmitting an acknowledgment signal to the server from selected receiving terminals.
