Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new services utilizing opinions and comments created by users.SOLUTION: A transmission section transmits an image of a predetermined object obtained by photographing and/or an image feature quantity to other information processing devices. A reception section receives a piece of review information which another information processing device recognizes the object of the images based on the image feature quantity and determines that the image corresponds to the object of the image using review information collected by the other information processing devices via social services and transmitted therefrom. A display section displays the received review information along with the object image. This art is applicable, for example, to terminal devices.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus which determines whether or not a user exits from a predetermined area.SOLUTION: A communication part 102 communicates with a server and also receives GPS (Global Positioning System) information from a GPS satellite which is not illustrated. The communication part outputs information received from the server or the GPS satellite to a control part 104. Information for identifying a user terminal, such as a user ID, is given to the information transmitted from the communication part. An information processing apparatus comprises: a movement information acquisition part for acquiring movement information on movement history of a user who enters a predetermined area; and a determination part 110 for determining whether or not the user exits from the predetermined area on the basis of the movement information.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently execute a program before and after migration of the program. SOLUTION: A virtual machine 13 in a memory 12A connected to a CPU 11A with a command set A mounted thereon is migrated to a memory 12B connected to a CPU 11B with a command set B mounted thereon. A command common to the command set A and the command set B is executed therein by the capability of the CPU 11B. A command that exists not in the command set B but in the command set A is executed by emulation by a command emulator 15. The present invention is applicable to a computer with a plurality of CPUs mounted thereon, for example. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily specify a channel broadcasting a program to be processed in an external apparatus, with simple configuration. SOLUTION: A signal outputted from a TV 4 and inputted into a video input terminal 3C of PVR 3 represents a program which a user is now viewing. In the PVR 3, a video image acquired from the signal input into the video input terminal 3C is compared with a video image acquired from a signal to be input into an antenna terminal 3A when selecting a predetermined channel with a built-in tuner. If both the video images approximate, the number of the channel selected with a built-in tuner is specified as the number of the channel also selected in the TV 4. This apparatus is applicable to an apparatus to be connected to an external apparatus for displaying and video-recording television programs. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a client to request, receive and reproduce music piece data stored in a server. SOLUTION: A client program 421 controls transmission of request signals to the server 401, receiving and reproducing processings of the music piece data from the server 401 and display of a GUI by a display control part 426, and in the case that a communication part 423 receives the music piece data of a prescribed format from the server 401, makes the received music piece data be outputted to a sound data conversion part 424. A server program 411 controls the transmission of the music piece data to the client 402 and registration of information of a music piece data base 415 and a ranking information data base 417 and the like, and in the case of receiving input of the request signals from the client 402, retrieves the requested music piece data from the music piece data base 415 by referring to a link information data base 416 and the ranking information data base 417 and transmits them to the client 402.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To expand plural compressed images by one image expansion arithmetic unit and to simultaneously display them without proving the image expansion arithmetic units of the same number as plural pictures expanding plural compressed images in a device. CONSTITUTION:Plural compressed image data (a) to (c) are expanded in time division in frame by the image expansion arithmetic unit 11, and plural decoded image data A to C obtained as a result are stored in plural storage areas 13A to 13C of a frame memory 13 respectively. Then, the decoded image data A to C are read out from the frame memory 13, and are outputted to a monitor 6 to be displayed simultaneously.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make a correct color gradation display of external video data by performing gamma correction processing for pieces of video information for the respective colors by a gamma correcting means to the same gamma correction quantity with internally handled video information. CONSTITUTION:A 2nd decoder 4 generates video data of R(red), G(green), and B(blue) having each pixel composed of, for example, 8 bits from luminance data and two color difference data and supplies the data to a frame memory (storage means) 5. The video data for the respective colors which are read out of the frame memory 5 are processed by gamma correction through gamma correcting circuits 6R, 6G, and 6B for the respective colors to the gamma correction quantity matching a monitor device 11 provided in this work station, and the color gradations are adjusted to the color gradations of the video data handled in the work station. Therefore, an image regarding the external video signal to be displayed on the monitor device 11 is displayed with the correct color gradations matching the color gradations of the work station.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve operabilitly and to control a video camera from a considerably distant place by controlling the video camera or a universal head corresponding to the inputted control information using a display part. CONSTITUTION:A video camera 4 is fixed on a universal head 3 installed on the upper part of a tripod 2. For example, a control part 1 composed of personal computers is connected with the universal head 3 and the video camera 4 through a communication interface. The prescribed coordinate information can be inputted from a mouse 8 equipped with buttons 8a to 8c to the control part 1, and the control part 1 can display the prescribed picture on a screen 6 of a display part 5 composed of CRTs, for example. The output of the video camera 4 is displayed on a window 7 of the screen 6. Thus, when the button 8c is depressed, whether or not this pressure is released, and the zoom-out control is executed when the pressure is not released.
