CONSTITUTION: A recording mode of a video image and a recording mode of a character or the like are selected by a selection circuit 219. The data stored in a memory 217 is taken out as corresponding recording data by the command of a CPU 218 to be supplied to a head controller 211 and a mechanical controller 212 and these controllers are controlled by the CPU 218 to send a control pulse signal and a head driving control signal to a printing head 70 at every dot and the driving control signal of a drive roller 205 to a paper feed mechanism 210. As a result, recording is executed.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a recording apparatus preventing matter unnecessary for recording from penetrating into the transfer region of a recording material to a material to be recorded and always performing good recording. CONSTITUTION: A printing head 70A is moved in an F-direction with respect to printing paper 50 at a time of recording and a liquefied dye 22 is evaporated in the evaporation structure 101 provided to the insulating plate 73 being the surface layer of the printing head and flown to the printing paper 50 to perform recording. A dye liquid stop part 97 is provided on the surface of the insulating plate 73 so as to surround the evaporation structure 101 and a narrow projection 91 is further provided so as to surround the dye liquid stop part 97. The projection 91 comes into contact with the printing paper 50 and functions as a spacer holding a predetermined distance between the evaporation structure 101 and the printing paper 50. A groove 99A is provided on the downstream side of the projection 91 in contact with the downstream part 91a in the moving direction F of the projection 91.

Recording is performed by an ink jet recording method in such a manner that a recording liquid 62 which contains a dye whose 90wt.% or higher vapors and 10wt.% or lower is a residue when it is heated to 300 deg.C or higher, and a solvent which dissolves or disperses 5wt.% or higher of the dye at 50 deg.C or lower and has a boiling point of 150 deg.C or lower is used.

CONSTITUTION:The head part 10 of a laser sublimation type printer is equipped with a solid dye storage tank 11 which stores a solid disperse dye 12, a liquid dye storage tank 15 which liquefies the solid disperse dye 12 in the storage tank 11 and a light-heat conversion agent 21 by heating and stores them, a lens 30 through which a laser beam L is directed from the side where a liquefied disperse dye 12' is vaporized, and a reflective layer 41. In this way, each liquefied sublimating dye 12 ' held in each liquid dye holder 22 is vaporized. The vaporized disperse dyes Y, M, C of the sublimating disperse dyes 12'' are transferred in order of Y M C to the dye receiving layer of photographic paper 50 fed between a plane base 4 and a protective layer 13 to give a color print.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable a reduction of a printing time and free setting of the size of photographic paper, by a method wherein powdery and granular evaporating dyes supplied from a supply part are evaporated by applying evaporating heat to the dyes by an evaporating part and the evaporated dyes are allow to adhere to photographic paper. CONSTITUTION:A paint pack 10 is formed so that paints obtained by mixing up evaporated paints each and a dispersant which is compatible with the evaporated paints with each other and making them into powdery and granular state are held into separate tanks. In the first portion 20 of supply of the paints, respective powdery evaporating paints are moved unidirectionally from the paint pack 10 and the powdery and granular evaporating paints are received in the latter part 40 of the supply of the paints. When the powdery evaporated paints are supplied to the evaporating part in the latter part 40 of the supply of the paints, in the evaporating part, the granular and powdery evaporating paints are evaporated by heating by evaporating heat by applying laser beams to them from a laser block 50. Then the evaporated evaporating paints coats photographic paper 1. Consequently, electric power saving, miniaturization and a low cost can be realized and a reduction of a printing time and free setting of the size of photographic paper become possible.
