    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a good-quality emulsion fuel even when high-viscosity heavy fuel oil is used, by emulsifying a mixt. of oil and water with the mixt. being supplied and circulated through a circulation circuit directly connecting a liquid pump with a motionless mixer. CONSTITUTION:A circulation circuits 13 is constituted by connecting in series a liquid pump 16 with a motionless mixer 17 in order along a liquid passage. Fuel oil O is supplied via a supply conduit 1 by a liquid pump 3 and water W is supplied via a supply conduit 2 by a liquid pump 4. After the fuel oil O is primarily mixed with the water W by a motionless mixer 12, the mixt. is emulsified by circulating via the circuit 13. Then the purpose emulsion fuel is obtd. by setting an amt. Q of the liquid circulated via the circuit such that it is larger than an amt. q of the liquid discharged from the circuit in discharging a part of the emulsified circulating liquid from the circuit 13.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To atomize pulverized coal-oil mixture in such a manner that pulverized coal is uniformly dispersed without precipitating by injecting the aforementioned mixture into emulsion fuel at a point before the atomizer burner. CONSTITUTION:The pulverized coal and oil mixer 2 is designed to feed the pulverized coal C via the screw feeder 16 as well as the oil O via the pump 17 to the mixing tank 14 which is provided with the sirrer 15. The pulverized coal- oil mixture from the mixing tank 14 is injected via the pump 18 into the supply route of waterdrops-in-oil type emulsion fuel. The pulverized coal-oil mixture, which is injected at a point before the atomizer burner 3, is mixed uniformly with the waterdrops-in-oil type emulsion fuel via the motionless mixer 12 to be atomized for combustion via the atomizer burner 3.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate operations of changing the types of additives and to improve an efficiency for small amount but different batches production, by a method wherein, after base polymer and various types of additives separately and synchronously injected are joined together, they are mixed by a stationary type mixer for injection. CONSTITUTION:Base polymer is fed by injection to a static type mixer 3 by means of an injection molder 1, various types of desired additives, for example, coloring agent, are fed by injection in synchronism with the base polymer at a given flow ratio to the stationary type mixer 3 by means of a plunger pump 7. After both the base polymer and the additives are mixed at a high mixture ratio accuracy, the mixture is injected through a nozzle 4. Adjustment for a flow ratio of the addition agents is done by detecting positions of their respective injection pistons 2 and 8 by means of sensors 11 and 12 and by comparing them by means of a comparator 9 for adjustment. This facilitates changing over of the additives and prevents the reduction in a working efficiency. The use of the stationary type mixer permits the availability of a high dilution magnification power.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To simultaneously produce moldings of different kinds and regulate the production quantity of each system independently so as to prevent the operation loss by dividing the base polymer flow into two or more sets of systems and performing on each system independently additive injection and extrusion molding. CONSTITUTION:A base polymer extrusion passage 2 of a large-sized extruding machine 1 for base polymer is divided into branched extrusion passages 21 and 22, which are provided with small-sized extruding machines 31 and 32 for additives, static mixers 41 and 42 and dies 61 and 62. The flow rate of base polymer, the kind and injection quantity of additives and the like in each of the branched passages 21 and 22 can be set by a regulating means such as a valve completely independently of each other.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To produce moldings of many kinds each in small quantities at a high working rate and reduce the amount of scatter in additive concentrations by providing a plurality of sets of additive injection passages which can be connected to the base polymer extrusion passage and allowing certain additive passages to be at rest. CONSTITUTION:The main extruding machine 11 for base polymer pellets is connected through an extrusion passage 12 and a static mixer 13 to a die 14. To the extrusion passage 12, a plurality of sets of additive injection passages 161, 162... are connected, some of which are rested by selectively opening valves 171, 172.... Each injection passage is provided with a quantitative pump. Thus, the additive injection passages at rest can be used in preparation for extrusion molding of polymer of the next kind as well as it becomes almost unnecessary to wash the additive injection passages.
