Abstract:
Different fluid polymers are continuously discharged into a limited space, at the same time, with passages for the polymers being moved relative to spinning orifices of a spinneret. A multiple layer flow is formed in which the different polymers alternate in the direction of flow. When the multiple layer flow is passed through the orifices of the spinneret plate, cooled and solidified or dried and coagulated, a fiber is obtained in which the different polymers are alternately arranged along the fiber. The interfaces between the different polymers are parabolic curved surfaces.

Abstract:
An apparatus and a process are disclosed for preparing a new type of conjugate fiber composed of multiple layers of different polymer materials. In the process, different fluid polymers are continuously supplied through parallel passages in a movable peripherally grooved flat plate to a chamber situated between said flat plate and a spinneret plate. As the polymers are supplied to the chamber, the flat plate is moved relative to the spinneret plate so that a multiple layer polymer flow results wherein the different polyfiber is obtained in which the different polymers are alternately arranged along the fiber. The interfaces between the different polymers are parabolic curved surfaces. The novel conjugate fiber so obtained has excellent properties with regard to dye acceptance, luster and touch, and is suitable for a wide range of uses such as for clothing and interior fabrics.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the productivity, prevent the damage of the die and simplify the exchanging work of the die by a method wherein inside and outside discharging die are detachably attached to the inside and the outside main dice. CONSTITUTION:The inside discharging die 3 and the outside discharging die 4 are secured respectively to the inside main dice 1 and the outside main die 2 which constitutes the main die with the bolts A, B. Resin, poured from introducing holes 5, 6, is joined at an annular passageway 12 and is discharged from openings 7, 8 of respective inside and outside discharging die 3, 4. The inside elements 1, 3 and the outside elements 2, 4 are rotated mutually at boundaries of sliding surfaces 9,9', 10,10', therefore, linear resins discharged from the openings 7, 8 become a cylindrical reticulated body. The main bodies 1, 2 having the main sliding surfaces 9,9' can be constituted with thicker durable materials, therefore, the damage of them is very little. The die 3, 4 can be exchanged easily with other die by only tightening with the bolts.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform the mixing of plural liquids stably and without waste by providing a liquid trap to at least one pipe line in the multiple liquid mixer connected with plural pipe lines so as to enable liquids supplied to concurrently reach the mixer. CONSTITUTION:In the multiple liquid mixer in which plural liquid measuring devices are connected in parallel to one mixer 11 through pipe line 10, a liquid storage or small-size tank 14 is provided to at least one pipe line 10b. Thus, even when liquids from the pipe lines 10a and 10b reach the mixer 11 incongruously, any one of liquids can be stored in the small-size tank 14, so that stably mixed liquids can be obtained from the early period of the operation without disposing a liquid.
