Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform the mixing of plural liquids stably and without waste by providing a liquid trap to at least one pipe line in the multiple liquid mixer connected with plural pipe lines so as to enable liquids supplied to concurrently reach the mixer. CONSTITUTION:In the multiple liquid mixer in which plural liquid measuring devices are connected in parallel to one mixer 11 through pipe line 10, a liquid storage or small-size tank 14 is provided to at least one pipe line 10b. Thus, even when liquids from the pipe lines 10a and 10b reach the mixer 11 incongruously, any one of liquids can be stored in the small-size tank 14, so that stably mixed liquids can be obtained from the early period of the operation without disposing a liquid.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an emulsion fuel having high stability without fail, using a simple apparatus, by providing a mixing tank with a plurality of liquid level sensors, and valves of the oil supplying pipe and water supplying pipe interlocked with the sensors, and connecting the mixing tank with a service tank for the temporary storage of the fuel. CONSTITUTION:A mixing tank 1 for the preparation of an emulsion fuel is provided with a mixing means and a plurality of level sensors 8, 9, and 10. The height of each level sensor is made adjustable. The mixing tank 1 is further provided with an oil-supplying pipe 4 and a water-supplying pipe 5 having valves 6 and 7 respectively. The valves are opened and closed by the signal transmitted from the level sensors. A service tank 2 for the temporary storage of the fuel is connected to the discharge line of the emulsion fuel.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable an emulsion fuel settled for a longtime to be used in good conditions at any time, by equipping a storage tank with a plurality of vertically spaced liquid outlets and selecting an adequate outlet in use. CONSTITUTION:A recycling circuit is constituted so as to connect liquid outlets 6a and 6b of a storage tank 1, a pump 10 and a motionless mixer 11 in series leading back to a returning liquid inlet 7 of the tank 1, wherein the liquid outlets 6a and 6b are vertically spaced at a plurality of levels (e.g., two in this case). A connection pipe 13 leading from between the mixer 11 and a valve 12 to a burning means is provided, through which a constant amount of fuel is withdrawn. Since water in the tank settles long after the above recycling was shut down, a highly hydrous fuel or sometimes only water is withdrawn through a lower outlet, which makes combustion difficult. Even in such a case, it is possible to obtain fuel in good conditions and to immediately use it for combustion, by using an upper outlet.
