Abstract: A mixing element comprises (two or three) parallel tubes each contg. helical ribs and connected at one or both ends to a header (collecting or distributing chambers). Element is used for mixing gases, liqs. or fine granular solids. Thorough mixing is obtd. Pref. the element comprises a number of such elements in series, the collecting chamber of one being the distributing chamber of the next. The common plane of the two tubes in one element makes an angle with the corresponding plane of the preceding (succeeding) element, esp. of 60-120 degrees. The pitch of the helical ribs is 150-220 degrees, or 60-120 degrees.

Abstract: PURPOSE:A powdered material of liquid supplied with time order and quality change is mixed by feeding it from its stacking condition regardless of product time order for take-out. CONSTITUTION:The inside of a vessel 1 is divided into a small chamber; C1, C2,.... Cn by a spaced wall; W1, W2, . . Wn-1 and a feed intake 2 is installed with certain distance in an overhead small chamber C1 and each small chamber is filled according to a time order; t1, t2,...tn corresponding to the order of the small chamber; C1, C2,... Cn and when Cn is filled, the feed intake is closed. Then, in this condition powdered material stacked in each small chamber falls all together by its own weight thru opening a small chamber exhaust valve 3 and is sent to a static type mixer 5 through a funnel shaped exhaust tube 4 and after that it is introduced to a product stacking vessel 11 passing through an exhaust adjusting valve 6. In this case, the powdered material keeps parallel flow in its time order so as to be mixed uniformly when passing the mixer 5.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a reservoir tank for reserving granular material or liquid, in which a hollow space is formed at the upper portion thereof whereas its lower portion is divided into a plurality of small chambers by means of vertical partition walls, and an outlet valve is provided at the bottom of these chambers for discharging the granular material or liquid all at once, whereby granular material or liquid in the tank can be taken out independently of the time sequence at which the granular material or liquid has been supplied into the tank. CONSTITUTION:Container 1 is divided into a plurality of small chambers C1, C2 - - Cn by means of partition walls W1, W2, - - Wn-1, and an inlet port 2 having a cross section smaller than those of the small chambers is provided just above the upper end of the first small chamber C1 at a position spaced by a distance H from the upper end of the chamber C1. Material supplied from inlet port 2 fills at first chamber C1, and flowing over the partition walls successively, fills succeeding chambers C2, C3, - - Cn, so that there is no possibility of filling two small chambers at a time. When common discharge valve 5 provided at the bottom of funnel-shaped outlet hopper 4 is opened, granular material dropped from container 1 by its own gravity at the time sequency t1, t2, - - tn is discharged all at once, independently of the time sequence at which granular material has been supplied into the container 1.
