Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for a partially oriented undrawn filament bundle capable of suppressing orientation of fiber and improving productivity in high take-over speed. SOLUTION: In a melt spinning cooling a line of thread F discharged from a nozzle 2 by cooling air and then taking-over at a first take-over roller speed 4,000 to 7,000 m/min, the cooling and sucking the line of thread F by the fluid suction apparatus 4 are carried out under a condition satisfying Vmin of 0.5 to 2.0 times the first take-over roller speed in the equation: Vmin=Vext×(Sext/ Smin) (wherein, Smin is the minimum sectional area of a tubular path of the suction apparatus 4, Sext is a sectional area of a tubular path of the exit of the fluid suction apparatus and Vext is a velocity of the fluid at the exit of the fluid suction apparatus).

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce the subject mixed filament yarn capable of readily controlling the orientation at the time of spinning and stably producing a textured yarn excellent in a bulky and soft feeling, body and stiffness by simultaneously spinning filament groups of core-sheath conjugated filaments at plural compounding ratios of a polymer therein. SOLUTION: Filament groups at >=2 kinds of compounding ratios R of a polymer B in core-sheath conjugated filaments F comprising a polymer A which is substantially a polyester as a sheath part and the polymer B having a larger temperature dependence of an elongational viscosity than that of the polymer A such as a polystyrene-based polymer as a core part are simultaneously spun at >=2,500m/min spinning speed to afford a polyester combined filament yarn. Furthermore, the maximum compounding ratio Rmax of the filaments F in which the compounding ratio R of the polymer B is the maximum and the minimum compounding ratio Rmin of the filaments in which the compounding ratio R of the polymer B is the minimum preferably satisfy Rmin =0.4wt.%. The false twisting or draw false twist texturing treatment of the resultant combined filament yarn is preferably carried out to produce a polyester textured yarn.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject fiber having specified wide angle X-ray diffraction pattern and birefringence, enabling draw-false twist texturing at a draw ratio comparable to conventional process, exhibiting small change with time and having high twist tension in draw false-twisting process. SOLUTION: The objective highly oriented undrawn polyester fiber exhibits diffraction peaks attributable to polyester crystal by wide angle X-ray diffraction and has a birefringence of 0.015-0.050 which is comparable to or lower than that of conventional highly oriented underawn polyester yarn(POY). The fiber can be produced e.g. by using a polyester as a sheath component and a polymer having a temperature dependency of extension viscosity higher than that of the sheath component as a core component and melt-spinning the polymers at a spinning speed of 4,000-9,000m/min or thereabout.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a new bulky textured yarn, having high levels of bulkiness, stretchability, stiffness, resiliency, a soft touch feeling, etc., especially a polyester false twist textured yarn suitable for a woolly woven or knitted fabric having fullness. CONSTITUTION: This false twist textured yarn is obtained by combining filament groups, comprising polyethylene terephthalate and having mutually different single filament deniers. At least one of the filament groups has 3-8 denier single filament size and comprises a high-polymerization degree polymer having 0.70-1.0 intrinsic viscosity and the other filament groups have 0.2-2 denier single filament sizes and comprise a low-polymerization polymer having 0.55-0.65 intrinsic viscosity. The difference in the intrinsic viscosity between both the filament groups is >=0.1.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a modified polybutylene terephthalate at an ultra-high spinning speed, having improved mechanical dimensional stability and free from troubles of the periodic unevenness in longitudinal direction and the frequent occurrence of the bright specks and shade bars caused by package crumbling and variation in unreeling tension. CONSTITUTION:This modified polybutylene terephthalate copolymerized with 15-50mol% ethylene glycol, is obtained by polycondensing terephthalic acid as an acid component with 1,4-butylenediol and ethylene glycol as diol components. The modified polybutylene terephthalate is melted and spun through a spinneret at an ultra-high speed, i.e., 7000-14000m/min, preferably 8500-14000m/min. The resultant package of the modified polybutylene terephthalate fiber has the following physical properties; =4.5g/de, preferably >=5.0g/de tensile strength.
