Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a polyester-based conjugated yarn exhibiting high bulkiness and excellent crimp-developing ability and capable of obtaining excellent high- quality fabric, scarcely developing Yoryu-like (purple willow) crepe even when the yarn is twistless or soft twist yarn and excellent in soft stretchability. SOLUTION: The polyester-based conjugated yarn is characterized in that the yarn is a multifilament composed of a conjugated fiber. The conjugated fiber is obtained by laminating two kinds of polyester-based polymers A and B side by side in the direction of fiber length. The polyester-based polymer A is a polyester mainly consisting of polytrimethylene terephthalate and the polyester-based polymer B is a fiber-forming polyester and the cross section of the conjugated fiber has a flat shape having a conjugate interface in the minor axis direction and the outer periphery of the polyester-based polymer B has a nearly circular shape and the outer periphery of the polyester-based polymer A has a nearly elliptical or square shape and ovality represented by a ratio of the minor axis to the major axis of cross section is 1.3 to 6.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester undrawn yarn which is stably produced without causing tight winding in high speed spinning, excellent in mechanical properties such as strength, little in change of the properties with the lapse of time even under a high temperature environment when transportation or the like in summer, excellent in shape stability, and smoothly passing through the following processes such as a false twisting and drawing process, and a method for manufacturing the same. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject yarn having an improved crimp retention ratio and excellent stretchability, useful for a fabric, and the like, by twisting a specific latently crimp developing polyester fiber yarn and providing the yarn with an ability of developing a hollow structure in the length direction of the central part of the yarn by heat treatment. SOLUTION: A latently crimp developing polyester fiber yarn which is a yarn composed of a latently crimp developing polyester fiber made of two or more kinds of polymers such as a polypropylene terephthalate, a polyethylene terephthalate, and which simultaneously satisfies =0.25 cN/dtex maximum value of shrinkage stress, >=30% crimp extension ratio E0 when heat-treated in a free-load state and >=5% crimp extension ratio E35 when heat-treated under 3.5×10-3 cN/dtex load is twisted and has ability of developing a hollow structure in the length direction of the central part of the yarn by heat treatment. A fabric is formed by using the yarn and the hollow structure is developed by heat treatment to preferably produce the objective fabric.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a device to manufacture polyester screen gauze which adheres to masking resin adequately. CONSTITUTION:A mesh fabric used is made of a core sheath type composite monofilament consisting of a core component which is of polyester and a sheath component which is of modified polyester containing 4 to 15wt.% of the third comonent of diol added to polyester. This mesh fabric is irradiated with ultraviolet ray comprising a 320nm or lower wavelength component at least, at 0.5Joule/cm and then masking resin is applied to the fabric. This screen gauze is ideally compatible with the masking resin from a viewpoint of adhesive properties and is highly resistant against printing wear. Further, the screen gauze has an excellent printing resolution, and can be manufactured at low cost.
