Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the polyester film, excellent in adhesion, blocking resistance and electrification characteristics and suitable as a substrate film, etc., for magnetic recording materials by laminating a specific readily bondable layer to a polyester film. CONSTITUTION:The objective product is obtained by laminating a layer composed of (A) a water-soluble copolyester composed of an acid component containing g >=50mol% aromatic dicarboxylic acid component (preferably terephthalic acid, etc.) and 5-50mol% ester-forming alkali metal sulfonate compound (preferably sodium 5-sulfoisophthalic acid, etc.) and a glycol component (preferably ethylene glycol, etc.) and (B) a silane coupling agent (preferably gamma-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane) to at least one surface of a polyester film. Polyethylene terephthalate is preferred as the polyester forming the film.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a laminated film hard to tear, excellent in pinhole resistance, reduced in the thickness of its support and increased in vapor deposition properties and slitting properties by laminating a polyester film specified in its thickness to the single surface or both surfaces of a support film composed of a polyphenylene sulfide film by close bonding strength releasable from the support film. CONSTITUTION:In a laminated film wherein a polyester film having a thickness of 0.2/1.5mum is laminated to the single surface or both surfaces of a support film by close bonding strength releasable from the support film, the intrinsic viscosity of the polyester film is 0.55-1.5 and the support film is composed of a polyphenylene sulfide. The polyester film is a uniaxially or biaxially oriented film of a resin composition composed of a polymer or copolymer wherein 70mol.% or more, pref., 85mol.% or more of polymer bonding chains are bonded by an ester bond.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To release without damaging documents stuck on or the like and making bonding again after releasing impossible by coextruding a layer (protection layer) constituting an opacifying layer and adjacent to a transparent resin layer and laminating them by means of bonding force to be able to release. CONSTITUTION:A layer (protection layer) composed of an opacifying layer, a transparent resin layer A and an adhesive layer laminated in said order and constituting the opacifying layer and adjacent to the transparent resin layer A is coextruded with at least the transparent resin layer A and laminated by bonding force to be able to release. It is preferable that the transparent resin layer A and the protection layer are laminated respectively in the state of being divided clearly when the two layers are coextruded and laminated by using the resin suitable for the purpose. The structure is simplified by said arrangement to make the manufacturing cost lower, and also when the laminate is used as a secret label, it is impossible to bond again once the same is released. Thus, a secret label for superior privacy protection, prevention of alteration and the like is manufactured.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the title film low in thermal degradation, excellent in mechanical properties, Freon resistance, etc. and suitable for dielectrics, etc. by specifying the content of poly-p-phenylene sulfide oligomer having a specified MW. CONSTITUTION:In producing poly-p-phenylene sulfide by, for example, a process comprising reacting sodium sulfide with a p-dihalobenzene in N- methylpyrrolidone, the polymerization temperature, the polymerization time, the kinds and amounts of adjuvants used (e.g., sodium acetate), the time and temperature in washing with an organic solvent after polymerization, etc. are specified. In this way, poly-p-phenylene sulfide wherein the content of poly-p- phenylene sulfide oligomer of an MW in the range of 300-2,000 is 0.1-2wt.% based on the entire polymer can be produced. This polymer is molded into a film, and this film is biaxially stretched to obtain the purpose biaxially oriented polyphenylene sulfide film.

SOLUTION: In this protective film provided with a surface-hardened layer (B) on either one surface through laminate films (A) attached on both surfaces of polyester film substantially without containing outside particles, the laminate film (A) is composed mainly of a polyester resin and a melamine-based cross- linking agent and the polyester resin has a carboxylic acid and/or its salt on the side chain.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of a surface hardened film by providing a laminating film wherein a polyester resin with a carboxylic acid and/or its salt on its side chain and a melamine crosslinking agent are main ingredients on at least one face of a polyester film and providing a surface hardened layer on this laminating film. SOLUTION: A laminating film wherein a polyester resin and a melamine crosslinking agent are main ingredients is provided on at least one race or a polyester film. A surface hardened layer is provided on this laminated film. The polyester resin being the constitutional ingredient of the laminating film has a carboxylic acid and/or its salt on its side chain. The polyester resin like this is obtd. by copolymerizing a polyester resin obtd. by polycondensation of a dicarboxylic acid with a diol and a polycarboxylic acid. In addition, 2-20 pts.wt. melamine crosslinking agnet are pref. mixed to 100 pts.wt. polyester resin. As the surface hardened layer, an active ray-curable type acrylic system is especially pref.
