    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition excellent in impact resistance and moldability by mixing a graft copolymer composition prepared by grafting a specified monomer mixture onto a diene rubber with an aromatic polyester resin and a fibrous reinforcement. CONSTITUTION:1-94 pts.wt. graft copolymer composition (A) comprising a graft copolymer prepared by grafting 90-15 pts. wt. monomer mixture comprising 50-90wt.% aromatic vinyl (e.g., styrene), 9-50wt.% vinyl cyanide (e.g., acrylonitrile) and 0.1-20wt.% alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid (e.g., methacrylic acid) onto 10-85 pts.wt. diene rubber (e.g., polybutadiene rubber) is mixed with 1-94 pts. wt. aromatic polyester resin (B) (e.g., polybutylene terephthalate) and 5-70 pts.wt. fibrous reinforcement (C) (e.g., chopped strand glass fiber) in a total amount of A, B and of 100 pts.wt. In this way, a resin composition improved in impact resistance without detriment to the moldability of the polyester and excelling in heat resistance, chemical resistance and mechanical properties can be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. having excellent mechanical characteristics such as impact resistance, permanent antistatic properties, etc., by blending a polyamide elastomer with a thermoplastic styrene resin and an org. halogen compd. CONSTITUTION:A polyamide-forming component (a) (e.g., caprolactam) is reacted with a poly(alkylene oxide) glycol (b) which has a number-average MW of 200-6,000 and in which both terminals are optionally aminated or carboxylated, and optionally a dicarboxylic acid component and a diamine component to obtain a polyamide elastomer (A). 100pts.wt. mixture of 1-90pts.wt. component A and 99-10pts.wt. thermoplastic styrene resin (B) (e.g., a styrene/rubbery polymer/acrylonitrile copolymer) is blended with 1-60pts.wt. org. halogen compd. (C) (e.g., decabromodiphenyl ether) as a flame retarder and optionally Sb2O3, a thermoplastic polymer, an antistatic agent, an antioxidant, a dye, a lubricant, etc.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition having permanent antistaticity and high and balanced impact resistance and heat resistance, by compounding a specific polyether ester amide, a polycarbonate resin and a styrene-based thermoplastic resin.
