    Abstract: PURPOSE:To form a printing plate of high print-resisting power with less printing stains by using the printing plate formed with a dielectric layer by means of specific resin composition in an engraving method practised by fixing an ink receptive toner imagewise on the printing plate by the use of an electrophotographic method. CONSTITUTION:Org. polysiloxane (A) and the epoxy-contg. alkoxy silane (B) expreseed by formula I [R is org. groups of C3-18 contg. epoxy groups; X is alkoxy of C1-8, (a) is 2, 3] are dissolved in an org. solvent, and the tetraalkoxy titanate (zirconate) (C) expressed by formula II (R1-R4 are hydrocarbon groups of C1-12; M is titanium, zirconium) is added to the thus resulted soln. The resulting reaction mixture is coated on a conductive substrate 21 and is then dried to form a dielectric layer 22, whereby the printing plate is prepd. Next, the latent images of an orlginal obtd. by an electrophotographic method are transferred onto said printing plate and this is developed with an ink receptive toner 23 and is fixed, whereby the printing plate is formed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make the toner difficult to receive the effects of the kinds of paper and the moisture in the atmosphere and obtain stable copied image quality by using the powder comprising the two parts which are different resin powders of more than the specific value in resistivity containing magnetic materials and are charged to mutually opposite polarities, as the toner. CONSTITUTION:The material consisting in mixing powder of ferromagnetic powder material in a resin soln. is developed and a solvent is evaporated to make a thin sheetlike material of about 10mu thickness. The material consisting in mixing ferromagnetic material powder in a resin soln. to become other part is developed on this sheet and a solvent is evaporated to form a sheet of about 10mu, whereby the double sheets are obtained. These double sheets are heated to the temperature at which the respective layers soften, and the sheets are cooled while a magnetic field of a perpendicular direction is being applied to the sheet surfaces. Next, the magnetism of the two-layer sheets is erased, after which the sheets are ground and after heat treatment, the ground particles are clasified, whereby the magnetic toner 1 which comprises two parts 2, 3, and in which the parts 2, 3 are oppositively charged so that the magnetic field direct to one direction is obtained. The resins of >=10 OMEGA.cm resistivities are used for the resins of the parts 2, 3 respectively.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain good-quality images and to decrease the staining of a carrier by a toner by constituting the carrier of iron powder having a specific surface area and bulk density. CONSTITUTION:This developer consists of the two-component developer composed of the carrier and the toner. The carrier to be used is constituted of the iron powder which has >=250cm /g specific surface area and bulk density. The stability of triboelectrostatic charge is surely maintained in this way and the friction when the toner and the carrier collide against each other is effectively relieved. The good-quality images are obtd. in this way and the staining by the toner is decreased.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a bloody odor of the toner particle itself by using an epoxy resin which does not contain tetramethyl ammonium chloride, for a base resin of the toner particle. CONSTITUTION:The titled toner is fixed by merely using a heat or jointly using a heat and a pressure, and contains the epoxy resin which does not contain the tetramethyl ammonium chloride as a main component. The toner particle is obtd. by melting the epoxy resin which does not contain the tetramethyl ammonium chloride as the epoxy resin, adding, kneading, cooling the obtd. epoxy resin to a room temp., grinding and classifying. Thus, the generation of the bloody odor is reduced, and a gas harmful to a cutis and a mucosa of human does not generate.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To suppress dark attenuation and to decrease the drop in contrast potential by setting the density of the dopants in the surface layer part of the CdS powder in a photosensitive layer at the specific value. CONSTITUTION:A conductive substrate 1, a photosensitive layer 2 formed thereon, and an insulation layer 3 formed on the layer 2 are provided, and the layer 2 binds the CdS powder contg. dopants with a binder, thereby forming a photoreceptor 4 for electrophotography. With this photoreceptor 4, the density of the dopants in the surface layer part of the CdS powder of the layer 2 is 10 - 10 (pieces/cm ) or the CdS powder is coated with an insulation characteristic film and the relation between the thickness (t)(mu) of said film, resistivity rho(OMEGA. cm) and the average radius (r)(mu) of the CdS powder is set at 10 . Dark attenuation is suppressed, the drop in contrast potential is decreased, contrast potential is taken large, and the degradation in image quality owing to ground strains, etc. is prevented.
