PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an electrophotographic carrier used for a two-component developer capable of ensuring stable image quality even in continuous printing. SOLUTION: At least a bonding resin and a magnetic material are melted, kneaded and cooled, the kneaded material is comminuted and classified and the resulting powder is heat-treated in a higher temperature range than the glass transition temperature of the bonding resin preferably by 5-15 deg.C to produce the objective electrophotographic carrier. This carrier constitutes a two- component developer by combination with a toner, contains at least the bonding resin and the magnetic material and has

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an electrophotographic magnetic toner that does not cause filming on the surface of a photoreceptor even in long-time or high-speed image formation and therefore prevents the occurrence of image defects. SOLUTION: When at least a bonding resin and a magnetic material are melted and kneaded, the resulting kneaded material is comminuted and classified to form toner particles and inorganic fine particles are added to the toner particles and mixed to produce an electrophotographic magnetic toner, a high concentration mixture of the inorganic fine particles is prepared in such a way as to attain 3-30 times the targeted addition rate of the inorganic fine particles and then the toner particles are added to the mixture and mixed to dilute the concentration of the inorganic fine particles to the targeted addition rate.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positively chargeable electrostatic latent image developing toner which produces no white speckles and to provide an electrophotographic developer. SOLUTION: This electrostatic charge image developing toner consists of at least a binder resin, a coloring agent and silica particles. The silica particles have 0.1 to 2 μm average particle size measured by a centrifugal sedimentation method. The electrophotographic developer consists of toner particles comprising at least a binder resin and a coloring agent, silica particles having 0.1 to 2 μm average particle size measured by a centrifugal sedimentation method of silica particles, and carrier particles. This developer is controlled in such a manner that the electrification sequence of the constituent particles is made of, from the lower side, carrier particles, toner particles and silica particles.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method for preventing falsification, with excellent workability by coloring the surroundings of a printing part with a coloring component included in toner. SOLUTION: In the case of forming an image on a printed material, the surroundings of the printing part are colored by the coloring component included in the toner. By this constitution, the surroundings of the printing part of the printed material are colored so that even if toner grains are physically removed to attempt the falsification of the numbers of securities, etc., in the case the fixation of toner powder is insufficient, evidence of printing is left because a surrounding part is colored, to prevent such an illegal falsification. As the printed material, an arbitrary one can be used. In other words, a special limit is not set but preferably a sheet of paper is used. Further, as the surroundings, normally most of the surroundings of the printing part are mentioned but it is good that the surroundings of at least a part of the printing part are obtained. Further, as the image forming method, it is preferable that an electrophotographic method can be used.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin carrier suitably used for a dual component magnetic brush developing system low in cost and having high reliability. SOLUTION: In manufacture of a magnetic material dispersion type resin carrier by melting and mixing, the carrier being used in the electrophotographic device of a dual component magnetic brush developing system or an electrostatic recorder and being made of at least a magnetic material and a connecting resin, grains having composition similar to that of the magnetic material dispersion type resin carrier are added before melting and mixing. For the grains having composition similar to that of the carrier, fine powder and/or coarse powder obtained daring manufacture by, for instance, crushing and classifying the carrier is used, but the use is not limited to this. Further, the amount of addition is set lower than, preferably 70wt.% of the entire mixed material or more preferably lower than 60wt.%.
