Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it hard to develop a twisting curl by a method wherein a composite is made of a biaxially stretched polyester film, whose value obtained by differentiating the amount of shrinkage dL/dT is a specified %/ deg.C within a range from its glass transition temperature to the specified temperature. SOLUTION: A film composite is produced by pasting together two or more sheets of a biaxially stretched film, the value obtained by differentiating the amount of shrinkage L of which with respect to the temperature T dL/dT is not more than 0.01%/ deg.C within the range from not less than its glass transition temperature to not more than 200 deg.C in the differential curve of the true amount of shrinkage in its machine direction, which is obtained from the amount of shrinkage during the temperature rise and fall according to TMA. The above- mentioned film has one peak of dL/dT within the region from its glass transition temperature to 150 deg.C and its second peak within the region not less than 150 deg.C. Both these peaks exceed 0.01%/ deg.C, resulting in increasing its thermal shrinkage. By pasting together films, the values obtained by differentiating the amount of shrinkage L of which with respect to the temperature T dL/dT are not more than 0.01%/ deg.C in the range from not less than its glass transition temperature to not more than 200 deg.C, a twisting curl becomes hard to occur.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a deterioration of a thickness unevenness of a film by giving a vibration to a resin melted by an extruder, further providing a filtering step by a filter, and supplying the resin to a mouthpiece via a member for substantially shutting off a resin pressure. SOLUTION: A regular vibration is given to a melted resin to lower a melt viscosity of the resin. As a frequency of the vibration, 10 to 1,000 Hz is preferable. A step of giving the vibration is conducted before a filtering step by a filter. Further, a vibration is given to the filtering step of the filter to increase a lowering effect of a pressure loss according to a decrease in a melting temperature. After this step, the resin is supplied to a mouthpiece via a member for substantially shutting off the resin pressure to prevent a pressure change of the resin due to the given vibration from affecting to the resin discharged from the mouthpiece and to prevent a deterioration of the thickness unevenness. The resin discharged from the mouthpiece is cast on a cooling roll, and solidified and molded.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the accumulation of impurities and foreign matter on a surface layer surface to more efficiently draw a thermoplastic resin film by forming a photocatalyst layer as the surface layer of a roll. SOLUTION: As the roll material, ceramics is preferably used. The photocatalyst layer consists of, for example, an oxide of transition metal, preferably, titanium oxide and, particularly, anatase type is used of the crystal system of titanium oxide. A sol solution of this titanium oxide and a binder is sprayed to a roll material, baked and fixed to form a compound having photocatalyst function on the roll surface as the sealant for a dent or hole on ceramic surface. When a film forming is performed by use of this roll, not only the washing of the roll can be dispensed with to improve the productivity, but a film having no surface defect in the film physical property after biaxial, drawing and excellent in thickness uniformity can be provided.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially oriented polyester film having uniform projection height, reduced in undulation, excellent in abrasion resistance and having high strength, excellent quality and high productivity, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: A biaxially oriented polyester film is characterized by that the ratio Rt/Ra of the max. height Rt of the surface of the film measured according to JIS B-0601 (3.1.1) and the center line surface roughness Ra measured according to JIS B-0601 (4.1.1) is 15 or less and the undulation index defined in the body is 10 or less. This biaxially oriented polyester film is produced by crystallizing at least the single surface of the surface layer of an unstretched film cooled and solidified after melt extrusion to form projections on the surface of the film and biaxially orienting this film and the crystallization of the surface layer of the unstretched film is performed by heating the part other than the edge parts of 20 mm or less from both end parts of the film in a non-contact state.

In this case, a ratio (La/Lb) of an elongation La of the laminated film after 60 hours of a weather test to an elongation Lb of the film before the weatherability test is 0.7 or more.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the tear resistance of a film by a method wherein the film is formed by laminating at least two layers to each other so as to realize the specified longitudinal and lateral tear propagation resistances and each polyester consisting of each layer has a specified Young's modulus and is stretched at least to one direction. SOLUTION: This film is formed by laminating at least two layers so as to realize the longitudinal and lateral tear propagation resistance of 2,000g/mm or higher and each polyester consisting of each layer has the Young's modulus of 1,400MPa or higher. In addition, the tensile elongation at break of each polyester consisting of each layer is set to be 50% or lower. In order to obtain a laminated film, respective layers are laminated to each other by means of a coextrusion method such as a multimanifold die method, a feed block method and a static mixer method and simultaneously extruded under molten state from a die. As a result, the propagating method of teat is different in layers from each other, resulting in remarkably improving the tear resistance of a film.

In a process as just mentioned above, the coefficient of planar orientation fn of the film is set to be within the range of 10×10 . Further, in a sheet-like film, which is obtained by being quenched and solidified after being melt-extruded with a flat die, the birefringence Δn of the film it set to be with in the range of 10×10 . By produce producing a molecular orientation in the direction within the surface of the film at the stage of the cast film, the following orientation giving process can be omitted or simplified.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of foreign matter due to overheating and the decrease of the inherent viscosity by setting the molten resin and liquid contact surface of a static mixing element to specific surface roughnesses, and cooling the temperature of the liquid contact surface of the element to the temperature drop crystallization starting temperature or higher of thermoplastic resin with the molten resin by the cooling means of a cooling element. SOLUTION: A plurality of serial static mixing elements 3 are connected in, the cooling element 2 of a heat exchanger. As the example of heating means, a jacket type heating element 1 is provided at the outer periphery of the element 2 to cool the elements 3. The element 3 is measured at the temperature of the liquid contact surface 4 by inserting a thermocouple from the liquid contact surface 4 with liquid at 5mm or less, and held at the temperature drop crystallization starting temperature or higher of the thermoplastic resin. The surface roughness of the surface 4 is less than 6.3S to prevent the flowing irregularity and retention irregularity. The melted thermoplastic resin is fed from the fluid inlet 5 of the exchanger, passed through the element 3, and discharged from a fluid outlet 6.
