Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a uniformly and highly intertwined polyester fiber, by carrying out the intertwining treatment between the oiling device and the first take-up roll group, and between the latter take-up roll group and the winder. CONSTITUTION:The yarn Y is intertwined with the interlace nozzle 5a between the oiling device 3 and the first take-up roll 6, and transferred to the second take-up roll 7 keeping the length constant or under tension. The yarn is then intertwined with the interlace 5b between the second take-up roll 7 and the winder 10, and wound at a speed of >=5,000m/min. The yarn can be wound even under a low tension without causing single yarn breakage or whole yarn breakage.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the titled fiber having uniform and high intertwining degree, and free from fluffing and single yarn breakage, by melting and spinning a polymer, cooling and solidifying the fiber, intertwining with plural interlace nozzles between the first take-up roll group and the next take-up roll group, and winding at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:A molten polyester polymer is extruded through the spinneret 1 to obtain the yarn Y, which is cooled and solidified with the cooling device 2. The solidified yarn is oiled with the oiling device 3, and intertwined and collected with two or more interlace nozzles 5a, 5b between the first take-up roll group 6 and the next take-up roll group 7 to obtain a highly intertwined and highly collected yarn. The obtained yarn is passed through the traversing guide 8 and wound with the winder 9 at a speed of >=5,000m/min to obtain the objective fiber.

Abstract: PURPOSE:A melt-extruded polymer is taken up at a specific speed, solidified, and treated with the finishing oil by means of an applicator that has a groove of a specified width perpendicular to the yarn touch direction and of a specified length and a hole for feeding the finishing oil, thus producing high-quality synthetic fiber without splash of the oil even at a high-speed taking-up. CONSTITUTION:A melt-extruded polymer is taken up at a speed of higher than 5,000m/min, solidified and treated with a metered amount of the finishing oil by means of an applicator that has a groove 2 running in the yarn touch direction and a finishing oil-feed hole 3 before the groove wherein the width of the groove W in mm. and the length at which the yarn contacts with the groove L in mm. satisfy the equationI[V is the taking-up speed in m/min]and equation II[F is filament count; D is filament diameter at the finishing oil applying part; in case of modified cross section yarn, D is diameter of the circumcircle of the cross section].

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of the damage of a ceramic spinneret and make it possible to clean the spinneret, by preheating the spinneret at a heating rate in a specific range, and immersing the spinneret in a cleaning solution at a high temperature or heating the spinneret with the cleaning solution to a cleaning temperature at a heating rate in a specific range. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic spinneret is cleaned at a high temperature by the salt bath or agent treating solvent system method. In the process, the spinneret is preheated at a heating rate of 10 deg.C/min or less and then cleaned by immersing in a cleaning solution at a given high temperature. Alternatively, the spinneret is immersed in a cleaning solution at a low temperature and cleaned by heating with the solution to a given high temperature at a heating rate of 10 deg.C/min or less.
