Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a prepreg material in which the generation of lifting on the surface of the prepreg and dimensional change even after being allowed to stand after cutting are controlled and which is free from lifting and other are prevented when wound onto a core body and has good molding work efficiency. SOLUTION: The releasing surface of release paper of 2-6 wt.% water content is coated with a thermosetting resin, and a resin film is produced. The bundle of arranged reinforcing fibers is held between the resin films or between the resin film and the release paper, heated and pressed with the holding state kept, impregnated with a resin, and wound up continuously to produce a prepreg material. Tension of 10-200 g/1000 filaments on average is applied to the bundle. In the holding state, the drawing tension of the r paper is 3-25 kg/m, and the drawing tension of the paper is 10-50 kg/m.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a reinforcing fiber woven fabric capable of facilitating operations to join raw fabrics in producing a prepreg and producing the prepreg of good quality by forming a part having a high flexural rigidity in a fabric end part of the rolled reinforcing fiber woven fabric. CONSTITUTION: This reinforcing woven fabric is obtained by forming a part 3 having an increased weft yarn basis weight where carbon fibers and glass fibers are simultaneously picked as weft yarns without varying the density of the picked weft yarns in the warp yarn direction 4 in the part within the range of 5-50cm from the fabric end 2 or applying a polyvinyl alcoholic size or resin or a backing agent to the part 3 and forming a part 5 at >=1.2 flexural rigidity ratio thereof to the other parts in weaving a 5-heald satin weave having about 350g/c basis weight from a 6000-filament carbon fiber bundle as reinforcing fibers and forming a roll 1. Operations to join each raw fabric are readily performed in producing a prepreg to afford the high-quality prepreg good in staightness of warp and the weft yarns.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to take out only carbon fibers for reuse by a method wherein carbon fiber reinforced resin formed body is treated at the temperature, which is higher than the decomposition point of its matrix resin and at which carbon fiber is not substantially decomposed, so as to be turned into a carbon fiber lump, which is made into an integral body by decompression product. CONSTITUTION:In order to reuse carbon fiber reinforced resin formed body (CFRP), the CFRP is treated at the temperature, which is higher than the decomposition point of the matrix resin combined with carbon fiber and at which the carbon fiber is not substantially decomposed, so as to obtain a carbon fiber lump, which is made into an integral body by the decomposition product of tire matrix resin. In this case, the decomposition percentage of the matrix resin in the integrated carbon fiber lump is set to be 80-99.5%. The carbon fiber lump is easily divided into constitutional fibers by the treatment in the following process. The recovered carbon fibers are reused as they are or after being processed into proper lengths.

CONSTITUTION:The objective yarn is characterized in that the cross-sectional shape of a single filament is a multi-lobar shape having three-five lobes, each lobe being once expanded from its root toward its tip, the multi-lobar shape being a shape in which plural circles are contacted with each other, and each filament having a modification degree of 1.5-3, the modification degree being defined by a ratio of R/r between the circumscribed circle radius R of the filament cross-sectional shape and the inscribed circle radius r. The above single filament is preferably a carbon fiber.
