Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing an amide or a lactam according to the Beckmann rearrangement of an oxime compound, capable of producing the same at a high conversion and a high yield without producing a large amount of byproducts such as ammonium sulfate.SOLUTION: An oxime compound is rearranged in the presence of a compound represented by formula (1) in a solvent, i.e., a lactone to produce a corresponding amide or lactam (in the formula, R, Rand Reach independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkyl group substituted with a halogen atom, an aryl group, an aralkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, a hydroxyl group, an aryloxy group, an alkoxy group substituted with an halogen atom, a mercapto group, a carboxyl group, a substituted oxycarbonyl group, an acyl group, an acyloxy group, a nitro group, a sulfone group, a cyano group, an amino group, or an oxyamino group; and L represents a leaving group).

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorbing material that includes new porous polyamide particles and is excellent in adsorption efficiency and adsorption ability.SOLUTION: The adsorbing material includes the polyamide particle, wherein an appearance shape of the particle is substantially spherical and the particle having an outer surface with through pores and an interior with independent pores is spongy.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an amide or a lactam by which the amide or the lactam can be formed in high conversion and high yield without forming a large amount of byproducts such as ammonium sulfate in the method for producing the amide or the lactam by a Beckmann rearrangement reaction of an oxime compound. SOLUTION: The method for producing the amide or lactam includes rearranging the oxime compound in the presence of a compound represented by general formula (1) (wherein, R 1 , R 2 and R 3 are each independently hydrogen, halogen, alkyl, alkyl substituted with halogen, aryl, aralkyl, cycloalkyl, hydroxy, aryloxy, alkoxy substituted with halogen, mercapto, carboxy, substituted oxycarbonyl, acyl, acyloxy, nitro, sulfone, cyano, amino or oxyamino; and L is a leaving group) by using a nitrile compound or a mixture of the nitrile compound and an aliphatic hydrocarbon as a solvent to produce the corresponding amide or lactam. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently separate a sulfur component from an organic solution containing the sulfur component and especially in a production of lactam by subjecting a cycloalkanone oxime to a Beckmann rearrangement using a sulfur compound such as thionyl chloride to efficiently separate the sulfur component from the reaction mixture.SOLUTION: The method for separating a sulfur component in an organic solution includes treating the organic solution containing the sulfur component with an aqueous alkali solution, namely, washing the organic solution containing the sulfur component with an aqueous alkali solution.
