Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a drive cable for actuating a vehicle member being movable as against a vehicle structure, comprising a cable body (26) which is made of plastics, and which includes an denticulation (28) extending in the axial direction for engaging with a driving toothed wheel (24) and through which an armouring extending in the axial direction reaches. The denticulation (28) is formed by pocket-like recesses (34) which are spaced apart in the axial direction at regular intervals, and which are limited, in the longitudinal direction of the cable, by flanks of resulting tips of teeth (36) formed by the cable body (26) and in the transverse direction of the cable, on each of their two sides, by a pocket flank (38) and which are in each instance limited by a root of a tooth (40) on the bottom side, the armouring reaching through said cable body (26) beneath said recesses (34) and said tips of teeth (36), the armouring defining an armouring plane (A) which extends in the transverse direction of the cable and in the longitudinal direction of the cable, and in which at least two continuous armouring harnesses (30A, 30B, 30C) extending in the axial direction are arranged side by side and/or in which at least one armouring harness (30) having a flat cross-section is arranged.
Abstract:
A drive cable for actuating a vehicle element that can be moved in relation to a vehicle structure is disclosed, the cable comprising a cable body (31) with a flexible cable core (32) which, in order to engage with a gear, is wrapped by a spiral (33) that follows a helical path. At least three longitudinal ribs (35, 61, 71) or ridges are formed at the periphery of the cable body (31), by means of which ribs the drive cable can be supported in a cable run and which form at least largely continuous guiding and contacting paths for the drive cable, each of said paths being spaced at a continuously constant distance from the cable axis. Alternatively, the cable can be provided with an elastic or plastically deformable cable sheath which, when the cable core is extended, forms a cylindrical cable peripheral surface without ribs that is concentric with the cable axis and that covers the cable core and the spiral.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a drive cable for actuating a vehicle element that can move relative to a vehicle body, said drive cable comprising a cable body (26) which is made of a plastic material and has toothing (32), which extends in an axial direction, for engaging with a drive gear (24), a continuous reinforcement structure (30) extending, in an axial direction, through said cable body. The toothing (32) is formed by pocket-like recesses (34) which are spaced from each other at regular intervals in an axial direction and which are limited, in the longitudinal direction of the cable, by flanks of resulting tooth heads (36) and are each limited on both sides, in the transverse direction of the cable, by a pocket flank (38), said pocket-like recesses each being limited at the bottom by a tooth base (40) through which a continuous reinforcement structure extends (30).
