Abstract:
Hybrid rope (20) comprising a core element (22) containing high modulus fibers surrounded by at least one outer layer (24) containing wirelike metallic members (26). The core element (22) is coated (23) with a thermoplastic polyurethane or a copolyester elastomer, preferably the copolyester elastomer containing soft blocks in the range of 10 to 70 wt %. The coated material (23) on the inner core element (22) is inhibited to be pressed out in-between the wirelike members (26) of the hybrid rope (20) and the hybrid rope (20) has decreased elongation and diameter reduction after being in use.
Abstract:
The object of the invention is a traction sheave elevator and a rope that contains metal as a load-bearing material, such as the suspension rope of an elevator, which rope comprises at least one or more strands laid from metal wires and which rope is lubricated with a lubricant. Another object is the use of the aforementioned lubricant for lubricating the rope. The lubricant comprises at least oil and thickener, which thickener in the lubricant comprises at least 10% or more of the mass of the lubricant.

In an elevator hoisting machine, a rotating shaft is rotatably supported in a bearing mount. The rotating shaft is rotated by a driving force from a drive motor. An elevator car is raised and lowered by means of a main rope by rotation of the rotating shaft. A main rope winding portion around which the main rope is wound is formed integrally on the rotating shaft. A rope groove into which the main rope is inserted is disposed on the main rope winding portion.

In an elevator apparatus, main ropes are wound around a drive sheave of a driving machine. A car is suspended by the main ropes and raised and lowered inside a hoistway by the driving machine. Traction capacity is ensured without using a counterweight by using as the main ropes resin-coated ropes in which an outer layer coating body composed of a high-friction resin material is disposed on an outer peripheral portion.

In an elevator apparatus, a car is suspended inside a hoistway by a main rope. A car guiding apparatus that engages with a car guide rail is disposed on the car. A speed governor sheave is disposed in an upper portion of the hoistway. A speed governor rope is wound around the speed governor sheave. The speed governor rope is cycled together with raising and lowering of the car. A resin-coated rope having a coating body constituted by a resin material disposed on an outer peripheral portion is used for the main rope and the speed governor rope. An oilless guiding apparatus is used for the car guiding apparatus.
