Abstract:
A powered sliding-door system of an automobile with a sliding-door drive device A and an automatic door closer B. The sliding-door drive device A has a box-like case body 1 opening downward, a case cover 2 covering the opening of the case body 1. A pair of guide pulleys are rotatably supported by axes, and each axis stands on the front end and the rear end of the case in slanting posture. A loop of cable is arranged between the pair of guide pulleys so that a working side is arranged outside of the case body and a return side is arranged in the case body. The loop of cable is driven by an motor driven actuator 12.
Abstract:
A tension apparatus of a vehicle door powered sliding device comprises a motor fixed to a base plate, a wire drum mounted to the base plate by a first shaft and rotated by the motor, a wire cable provided between a vehicle sliding door and the wire drum for pulling the sliding door forward or rearward when the wire drum rotates, first and second tension arms rotatably mounted on the first shaft and having tension rollers which makes contact with the wire cable, an intermediate lever rotatably mounted on the first shaft, an adjusting member for fixing the first tension arm and the intermediate lever so that an angle of the first tension arm and the intermediate lever can be adjusted, a tension spring provided between the intermediate lever and the second tension arm.
Abstract:
A window regulator employs a drive cable to regulate opening and closing of a window in a vehicle. The drive cable is attached to a glider which is attached to the window, and extends around a first and second guide means and a drive drum. Rotation of the drive drum causes movement of the cable which in turn causes movement of the window. One of the guide means is slidably mounted and coupled to a spring which causes the guide means to apply tension to the drive cable. The spring is positioned along substantially the same axis along which the slidably mounted guide means may travel.
Abstract:
A base member and a fascia are assembled to form a hollow door section which is filled with insulative material. Adjacent sections are coupled along respective longitudinal edges for angular and spatial displacement. The base member is extended from a selected plastic with male and female coupling components extending continuously along respective longitudinal edges. A plurality of mounting members projecting from the lateral edges of the sections matingly and slidably engage the semi-cylindrical guide surface of a tract for reciprocal vertical movement of the door. The door may be partially raised for spatial displacement of the sections whereby flow-through ventilation openings are exposed. In a specific embodiment, a flexible drive screw is rotatably carried within the track for powered operation of the door.
Abstract:
In a guiding device for a vertically adjustable window pane of vehicle doors, two holding parts, which each have an upper and a lower sliding block and are spaced away from one another, are provided at a lower edge of the window pane, these holding parts being in operative connection with U-profiled tracks of guide rails mounted in the door body. So that, for framelessly guided window panes having a pronounced lateral drop with respect to the door body located underneath, a guiding device is provided which, while it has a simple construction, ensures a functionally appropriate holding of the window pane in all positions, two tracks are constructed at each guide rail. The upper sliding block interacts with the first track, and the lower sliding block interacts with the second track. The tracks of one guide rail and the two sliding blocks of each holding piece are arranged at opposite longitudinal sides of a common connecting web of the guide rail extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.
Abstract:
In an apparatus for controlling operation of an automatic door with minimum error in a detected door position, a motion sensor is positioned relative to a movable driving member coupled to the door. Pulses having a pulse repetition rate are created in direct proportion to a velocity of movement of the driving member. The pulses are counted and current position of the door determined. Any error arising from a loss or slip in an intermediate transmission mechanism which couples a motor with the final driving member is substantially eliminated. A pair of motion sensing elements as opto-electronic couplers may be provided for sensing a phase relationship between the sensing elements defining a direction of door movement. A pulse interval monitor adapted to generate a signal indicative of a long lapse of time between adjacent pulses from the sensing element may be provided. A sequence control circuit responsive to this generated signal generates a stop command for the motor.
Abstract:
Closing arrangement for sliding doors adapted to move between closed and open positions along a lengthwise guide track. The arrangement includes a rotor operatively connected with connecting links connected to the door and arranged to move along the guide track. Brake arrangement is mounted with a drive member mounted in coaxial alignment with the rotor shaft. The closing arrangement is provided with a coupling device which is operatively connected to the rotor shaft and comprises an electromagnetic coupling and a friction coupling mounted on a common shaft. The coupling device prevents an inadvertant backward movement of the open sliding door to its closed position.
Abstract:
A remotely controlled gate opener for use with a pivotable fence gate is characterized by a closed loop drive chain which is mounted around a set of three triangularly positioned fixed sprockets including a motorized drive sprocket and two positioning sprockets. The gate opener is mounted adjacent the gate post supporting the gate and the gate is attached to the drive chain at a point between the positioning sprockets such that the drive chain, when propelled by the motor, acts to pivot the gate. The preferred embodiment includes a radio controlled motor controller for remote control of the gate opener.
