Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission constitution for moving picture data and a method for easily constituting the moving picture data. SOLUTION: A graphic scene to be converted into a moving picture is preloaded in an image constitution means 15 in a form of a set of objects, and at least some of the objects have identification information of themselves, and the moving picture data of the graphic scene are constituted so as to be suitable for constitution of image 16 displayable on at least one screen. This method comprises such a stage that a single moving image mask is provided for the image constitution means 15 prior to the graphic scene to be converted into the moving picture, and a basic mask is allocated to at least one object; and a stage that to correct the object, a dynamic characterizing field of the object of the moving picture data, which includes a picture frame, is updated by a decoder 14 according to the order set by the moving image mask. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the quality from being inevitably lowered by a jitter phenomenon in a network and particularly to temporarily suppress the influence of a severe fault caused by the network. SOLUTION: A received digital data packet includes data describing a continuous time segment of a signal stream to be restored like a voice, for example. An element resulting from the received packet is recorded in a buffer memory (6) composed of a FIFO mode. A burst of a packet fulfilling the condition of a certain burst size is transcendentally detected on the basis of reception delay evaluated with respect to the reception of the first packet in the burst. Contents of the buffer memory are controlled by disclosing the detection of the burst fulfilling the condition of the size. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long-distance communication system, which includes a handset including a receiver and a microphone, an audiovisual terminal, and a camera, which can operate without hindering comfortable visual and auditory actions of a face-to-face caller. SOLUTION: The handset 200 includes a means which remotely controls the terminal and also remotely control the camera via the terminal, the remote control means includes an operation means, by which the user of the handset can click the cursor on the screen of the terminal in one zone by remotely moving it in (x) and (y) directions and sends an encoded signal for remote control out, and the terminal includes a means which receives and decodes the signal. This is used for a long-distance communication terminal, such as the facilities for video telephone, video conference, and a television meeting.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem, in which a capacitor equipped with a metal electrode is subjected to a high-temperature annealing process, in an integrated circuit manufacturing process to be lacked in voltage linearity. SOLUTION: An integrated capacitor is equipped with a first electrode 1, a second electrode 3 which are both formed of metal layer, and dielectrics 2. The dielectrics 2 are composed of at least two dielectric layers 2-2 and 2-1, whose dielectric constants ε are varied in opposite directions corresponding to an electric field, and the thickness ratio of layer 2-2 to layer 2-1 is so determined as to enable the capacitor to have a sufficient voltage linearity which does not exceed 20×10-6/V.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily detect the connection of CDMA codes by deciding a pair of equalizing filters which continuously evaluate all symbols transmitted by the CDMA codes sent from a specific number of received samples to a pair of transfer sub-matrixes. SOLUTION: This detection method is applied to a code which is transmitted via a multi-pass static linear transmission channel that causes the Gaussian additional white noises and also satisfies an equality, e=A.d+n, where A shows a transfer matrix of a multi-pass static linear channel with (d) showing a pair of symbols of a code to be transmitted, (n) showing an additional noise vector and (e) showing a pair of received samples respectively. In this method, a pair of equalizing filters are decided to continuously evaluate all symbols transmitted by the CDMA codes sent from a specific number of received samples es to a pair of transfer sub-matrixes A corresponding to the number (s) of rows of blocks of the matrixes A.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device for varying the tilt degree of a radiation pattern of an antenna which has high reliability and is inexpensive and easy to remotely operate by allowing a supply means which supplies radio frequencies to include an electronic phase shifter means for obtaining a phase shift between signals so as to slant the radiation pattern. SOLUTION: The antenna is equipped with a radiation element and a supply means which supplies radio frequencies to the radiation element and the supply means includes an electronic phase shifter means for obtaining a phase shift between signals so as to tilt the radiation pattern. This antenna distributes the electric power of a radio frequency signal to radiation elements 5 and 6 by distributing it to the input E of the antenna 9 by the electronic phase shifter means through a cable 13. This distribution is carried out by basic phase shifter cells 1. Each cell 1 has a division tee, a 2-bit or 3-bit phase shifter, an output of a right-angled phase and a coupler.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To couple optical-beams to a semiconductor structure at an optimum without using semiconductor compositions or techniques which are difficult to adopt. SOLUTION: There is prepared at least a semiconductor part which comprises at least a substrate 10 and a lamination assembly containing at least a wave guide layer 14. Photoelectron magnetic waves are irradiated on the wave guide layer 14, and wavelengths and incident angles of the photoelectron magnetic waves are selected so that a specific absorption peak suitable to the assembly for inducing the photoelectron magnetic waves in the wave guide layer 4 exists within the wavelength and the incident angle.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain structure including the level of a conductor being separated by insulation layers that locally cross by a via being filled with metal, by including a stage for performing retching to the level of a surface at the upper side of a sacrifice layer by chemico-mechanical polishing after depositing metallization. SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing metallization, the thickness of a dielectric layer 38 where the dielectric layer 38 that is made of a material that cannot be etched easily by a prescribed method, is formed on a support is satisfied based on a predetermined pattern. A sacrificial layer 32 with a desired thickness in a material layer is formed on a support 31, an opening 34 is formed at the sacrificial layer 32 based on a determined pattern, and metallization 35 is formed in the opening 34. Then, the sacrificial layer 32 is eliminated, and the layer of a material 37 which at least exceeding a thickness that is equal to that of a metal pattern is deposited, thus applying to a dielectric material that cannot be etched locally to an edge having a sharp slope.
